Got this caller id#.. a delayed response to my answer.. a telemarketer? I hung up. No call back.

Claimed to be Verizon calling about updating my phone plan.

have gotten one or two calls a week for the past few weeks fron this number. It hangs up when I answer.

Confirmed. Verizon Wireless telemarketers. I was due for my upgrade.

Got a call; when answered - dead air.

Got a call from Verizon saying I was due for an upgrade.  Telemarketer had my cell #....but I'm not due for an upgrade for 9 months.

Got a call from this number claiming to be Verizon wireless.  I did not answer the call, but when called back, went straight to a person on the other end (NOT typical verizon wireless protocall).  She wanted my cell number and then when I asked who she was, said "thank you for your interest in Verizon Wireless"...and continued to give me attitude about me not giving me my address to verify.

So, I called Verizon.  This was not their employee and they had not called.  Watch out...giving information out can get you in trouble.

I just got a call from this number too, I don't answer unknown numbers, and no message was left. Makes me a bit worried the Verizon sold numbers.

Yup, this number has been busy today!  I got it too -- didnt answer -- always check this site before answering those "unknown" phone numbers that pop up!

I would be very suspicious about calls from this number.  Normally, if Verizon Wireless calls their customers they call your cell phone number first.

Have received two calls from this number in the last couple of days. When I answer, it hangs up.

I just called the verizon number from the verizon website (1-800-922-0204). Customer service verified that they do have a department who makes calls for upgrades and many times it's an outside company who makes the call.  They prefer for you to call verizon customer service because the can offer the same deals but the number 877-767-9831 is legit.

Got this call today. I do not have verizon service. They wouldn't tell me how they got my number.
