Been receiving calls from 877-770-8125 daily for last few weeks or more. I've answered a few times either saying nothing, waiting for them to speak or by saying hello.
    -Calls answered without speak-
no one on the other end speaks but they don't hang up either.
-Calls answered by saying hello, foreign speaking person with a very heavy accent asks to speak to me & butchers my name. I ask who is calling. Person responds, speaking very fast. Still can't understand .
I say I can't understand them, person continues in a louder tone. I say I can't understand what they are saying . Person starts over again. The only thing I do understand is AT&T, free offer, wants me to give my account #. I say, not giving my account number. If they work for AT&T, they should be able to look up my account #. Person rambles on. I tell the person on the other end, I'm not interested, I'm registered with the National Do Not Call List. Remove my name & number from their records & stop calling me immediately. They hang up on me.

The following day I receive another call from the same number & each day after that. I've said to stop calling me 3 times. I blocked this number 8 days ago. My phone shows this number has continued to call me daily after I blocked it. After I block a phone number my phone disconnects the call within a few seconds without my phone ringing.

As of 2 days ago, when this same number called me, my phone stopped disconnected  the call & my phone started ringing again.
This number is still showing as a blocked number on my phone but some how they have managed to over ride or get around the blocked number status.

This is harassment. These calls are unwanted, inconvenient, disruptive, an invasion of my privacy, waste of my time & an attempt to take advantage or scam me out of money or personal information for dishonest, fraudulent & illegal reasons with the sole purpose of committing a crime against me.

In an attempt to stop being harassed & protect myself I have taken the time & effort to make a request to stop calling 3 different times, added my phone number to the "National Do Not Call List" every year, physically added 877-770-8125 to my personal blocked call list 3 different times & filed a dispute/report regarding this phone number & attempted scam to the Federal Trade Commission.

I have used all the resources I have knowledge of & are available to me prevent receiving additional phone calls from this phone number without success. Further action needs to be taken by someone who is professionally trained to deal with this type of issue.

I got a call, a man speaking english with a slight Indian accent, claiming to be from ATT saying "this is a time sensitive deal, $80 a month for 2 gigabytes both upload and download speed through fiber" saying it's avaible in my address, however I checked on the actual ATT website and my city doesn't even have ATT.

These people are definetly scammers as they were trying to rush me to purchase their "deal" and even lowered it down to $50 a month as part of a "special last minute promotion" after I said I am currently paying $79 already.

Don't give your information to these people.

Even regular support has Indian accent
In the news there are rogue Indian call centers doing scams , this practice hasn't changed in years there has been crackdown but doesn't mean they stopped all of them

This number called me today, by the time I could pick up, they hung up.   I'm wondering if this could be connected to the AT & T data breach.

Because the only way someone would be able to call you is if there was a breach of some sort?
