- ClaudiaI googled this company got a phone number (877-268-9594) of course it was an automated phone so I pushed 2 to be placed on their DNC list. But I am on the National DNC list and they still called me. Will wait and see what happens.

- grannyb| 1 replyI am horrified by this. I ordered something from an Anthony Richards catalog and was billed by a company called Amerimark. I received my merchandise and it was OK, but today I received a call from a man who wanted to start billing me every month for some discount card for glasses, prescriptions, etc. I told him I did not want that. He said I could try it for a few months and if I didn't like it call and cancel. I told him consider this to be my notification that I did not want it. He had started out by saying I would be receiving several coupons for future orders from Anthony Richards. Once I stated I did not want to purchase their discount card he told me I would not be receiving the coupons. The scary part is they now have my credit card number , name, address, etc. I can't believe a simple clothing purchase ended up this way. I certainly will never order from Anthony Richards again and plan to complain to them immediately.
- BigA replies to grannybIt is pretty clear from going to the website that Amerimark is affiliated in some way with Anthony Richards. It sounds as if they wanted to sign you up for some sort of club where you pay a monthly fee and get coupons for discounts from their website. Nothing is mentioned at the website, but there is something that resembles this club. The link is dead so I couldn't read about it. You might want to get your card number changed if you think that there will be a problem. Remember that you can always dispute the charge if you find one on your bank statement.
- JesusLovesYouI just received a call from this number and when I answered, no one responded. I see from the comments that this number could be associated with Anthony Richards/Amerimark and I did place an order with them recently.

- WalkerTelemarketer. He asked about an order I had made. As he told me about sending me coupons he would mumble what sounded like dollar amounts and terms of a contract. Almost like he was having 2 conversations. When I asked what he was mumbling he hung up.

- LChenI recently ordered something from AmeriMark, and the caller ID said "AmeriMark" so I answered the phone thinking it could be about my order. Instead it was a sales call. The person on the phone said they were sending "great offers" in the mail, and if I decide not to take it, then I can call and cancel. Incredibly, they were going to charge me for something I never asked for, and then keep on charging until I cancel. I told him NOT to send me anything and to delete me from the call list.

- Annoyed in Kansas| 1 replyAs was stated by LChen just before me, I also placed an order with Amerimark recently, and thought perhaps they were contacting me with a customer service issue, since they are having to backorder certain items I ordered from them---I gave them the chance to speak to my voicemail, but because I wasn't the one to answer, no message left. I don't know why they would feel the need to annoy me with sales calls, which apparently is what they are up to.

- BigA replies to Annoyed in KansasBased on what "LChen" wrote, you might want to contact them and find out what this recurring charge is or else you might find yourself signed up for it. I can't find anything on their website that deals with a recurring charge. I remember some complaints about the "replacement" charge in case the product gets damaged in shipping, something I don't feel the customer is responsible for.
- Pat Butkus replies to Steve WilsonI just had the same issue with Beauty Boutique.Took 2 calls to get the .99 removed. Awful business policy to charge additional for customer support for what they should be
doing anyway. Will never order here again. - LucyReceived 2 calls from this number 877-810-8090 (Caller ID displayed: 800 Service-- whatever that means???!); the first call was at 8:00 AM IN THE BLESS-ED MORNING, which is MUCH TOO EARLY for SCAMMERS to start calling (!!!), and the second call was a half hour later at 8:30 AM. I don't normally answer calls like this, but when the same number showed up on the second call, I answered the phone and started SCREAMING-- I told them to STOP calling me, especially since it was SO EARLY in the morning! Not sure if anyone even heard me though?, because the caller didn't say a word, from the time that I answered the call, until I hung up after my tirade! So then I tried calling the number back, and the outgoing message stated that they are a company (Amerimark) affiliated with MANY different mail order catalogs; so apparently I am now on some sort of "calling list", due to an order that I placed from the Anthony Richards catalog. Therefore, I will NEVER order from them again-- they just LOST themselves a customer! I WON'T do business with ANY company that calls people at 8:00 AM IN THE MORNING!
