Okay so the national do not call list isn't enough to prevent some "lost my doggie" pet alert system from calling us?
 Scam or not, and while its a great idea for those who lose a pet, but calling 1000 neighbors seems like one of the best phonecall pranks any kid could ever want to pull!

Take me off the lost or meet me in court.

we have sick people here. Can we have telemarketers to call teldmarketers asking them not to call our numbers.

This is a great system for helping people find their lost pets. I just got a call about a lot dog with a full description and it says there is a $200 reward. It very sad but I'm glad their is a system like this in place.

Caller: "Lost My Doggie" Phone alert service for lost pets.  From the website: "A lost or missing dog locating service that can dramatically increase the chances of finding your lost dog, missing cat, or stolen pet. Our animal alert lost pet service should be used in conjunction with other traditional methods of trying to locate a missing pet, such as posting flyers, going to local shelters, and posting lost pet ads in local and community newspapers."

Unfortunately, for the distraught owner, my message only said "..gray collar". You can opt out of further calls according to the phone message.

Very disturbing

the caller ID was "lostmydoggy.com" (doggy with a Y instead of IE) which is not a legit website. phone number was 877-818-0060 (instead of 877-818-0600) make sure to double check before answering the call. it's a shame to scam a reputable site trying to help lost pets.

Called my home.  As noted above, there is a website with “doggie” but not “doggy”, so I guess this was not legit.
