Customer called looking for 14float glass in 36" x 48" so I gave the price for 1 piece and then she said is there a price break for 200.  I informed we do not ship so it would have to be picked up here at our location and that no, we do not offer price breaks and she wanted me to check with my supervisor.

looking for several hundred insulated units and 36X48 1/4" clear glass. Does not sound legitmate. Asked for discount if ordering large quantity. Said they would pay cash. Gave name of Melissa with "Reed Business"??  gave number of 877-818-1370

called wanting a price on ten 3/0x7/0 sc birch doors and schlage lock sets, foreign lady on the other end, doesn't seem quite. they don't want to give out any info about themselves...

This number is a scam. They try to get you to set up large orders and do C.O.D., we get calls from them all the time requesting 8" concrete block in large quantities.
The easiest solution is to cut them off before they get into their b.s. I ask them for their name and number and tell them we will have someone contact them about special pricing. Dont even waste more than a minute dealing with these people.

Hadn't got these calls for a while, they've begun again. Always a foreign accent requesting prices on several different building materials. It's gotten to the point where between these and credit card processing calls I usually just hang up as soon as I hear an Indian accent. Never had any idea what the purpose of the calls was.

Latest call claimed to have a job in the area, wanted a price on 600 2x4x10's, in whatever the "local" species is.

Customer called wanting pricing on drop ceiling tile. I informed her that I had to get intouch with my vendor and if I could get her name and number I would call her back on pricing. Customer had a foreign accent and would only give a first name of Shiny. The called did not sound right so on a whim, I reversed looked up the phone number and came across all the complaints. I am glad I did.....

Called checking on 4 1/4 X 4 1/4 white wall price. Manufactor didn't matter. I'm also glad I looked the number up before going thru the trouble.

I just received a phone call from someone called Sandy with a Middle Eastern accent. She wanted a price for material with no tax and delivery for 100 pcs 1/4 glass 36 x 48. She would not give me the location of the job site, when i asked for the name of the company she told me " Reed Business". I am please to know that i looked up the number before contacting them. BE AWARE!!!

Called & wanted price on 200 tons of 3/8" hot mix asphalt. They want to pickup in May sometime. Said they have a job in the area they need it for. I told them I need proof of insurance before trucks can enter my plant site. She said ok i can do that.

Asked for price on 20 lock sets.

Caller ID showed number as 1011-913-366-366-3435. Indian accent.
Asked for a call back number and was given 877-818-1370 and the name Mohana.
Said they would pick up the order at our location in Massachusetts.

Definitely a scam. I have received similar emails; they always ask to order large quantities and sound phishy.

Report to local police!

They're Back!! Got the same call as above from Mohena, 20 Schlage locks, same phone #, this call to Wilmington, DE. At least they sound a little more intelligent than a Nigerian scam e-mail.

I believe this is the first time that this company placed an order with us. And after getting several similar calls, they really took 200 sq yd of Shaw Carpet. Glad to know that this company truly exist.

Scam Called Liz back and did not know me after I researched for her on ceiling tile 3,000 sq. ft. Wanted cheaper pricing when i called back didn't want to know price. Didn't know me. Unusual.

Same number, indian accent, asking for 2-10'x25" laminate tops with square edge, no backsplash, no finished ends, in almond.  her question patterning matches with when i get phished or shopped (as in for surveys).  did not ask for order.

I just got the same call for countertop 10' x 25" unfinished three edges and 1 1/4" thick.  Gave her a price but told her I would have to get an actual price if she wanted only 1 1/4" thick.  Left this number, name Shiny.

Got a call from this number asking for 80 squares of metal decking and 45 tons of joists.  Thought it sounded fishy so I did the reverse number look up and it is a scam.  The guys name was Patrick and he did have a foreign accent.
