Blue Cross/Blue Shield calling to do a survey about my experience when talking to their service representative.  I did actually call them earlier in the day to report a problem with one of my claims.

This is an automated survey conducted for Blue Cross Blue Shield in order to help maintain an effective over the phone customer service.

Since many companies have began using this type of post use survey, I've noticed that the effective, help of  customer service departments has been steadily improving.

This one is innocent, no harm, no foul intended.

Most likely someone called Blue Cross Blue Shield from your number within the last 72 hours.
The call and hangup is intended to be a polite way to remind you that they want your input.
It takes less than a minute.

This is an innocent attempt by Blue Cross Blue Shield services evaluation team to keep their employees on their toes, that is all.

Blue Cross Blue Shield services evaluations are "NOT" trying to harass anyone, if they called and hung-up simply return the call and give your evaluation of their services that were provided to you or not, select not to do so. That's it, for once this is an honest respectable function. I'm in no way affiliated with BC BS, I have used their medical insurance for approximately 18 years. They do have their communications and public relations programs down to a science and they aim to keep it that way. Can't ask for more than that.
