3rd party company saying they were working with Bank of America and wanted us to enroll into "HAFA" (government foreclosure avoidance) program.

This is a scam.  They called my home number saying they work with Bank of America wanting to offer the HAFA as poster stated above.  The person asked my for my information.  I told the woman that she called me, she had my information and what was this regarding.  They wanted to know if my house was for sale.  She then told me who she was and that they get their information from BOA.  I then told her my loan was current and I had no need for an assistance.  When I told her that she tried to get off the phone quickly.  I told her I was not finished that I wanted to be taken off the call list immediately.  She tried to tell me she couldn't and I told her she could and better.   SCAM.
