Got the same card. Other sites say it is a scam. The name on it is a real person in GA. Will give him a call to let him know what is going on.

Got the same card, too; at the bottom of the disclaimer it does say, "This notice should be disregarded if you do not currently have an in-force annuity contract."  In my opinion, it looks like they're just fishing for info...

Got the same card, just called them and gave my name and address...when for "verification purposes" she asked more personal details I asked for them to mail the rest of the info. If I get anything, I'll post it here.

Received postcard from Greg Gunther Annuity and Insurance Services saying 'you may have an annuity that has reached the end of its surrender period'.  Thanks for your posts.  I didn't have to call the bogus number.

Funny thing, there is no Blandermark Square in Stamford, in zip code 06901.  There is a Landmark Square.  Think I may have to forward to the state's Attorney General's office.

Received a card saying a 401K reached end of surrender period.  Funny, I don't have a 401K!  Return address:  Scheduling Services, Philadelphia.  Same phone #

My husband answered the phone recently to a very sassy woman who immediately asked for me by first name and my husband asked, "who's calling?"  She replied by asking who he was and this infuriated him because she called our home phone number & asked for me.  He answered her in a very direct voice and asked again "who's calling?"  Finally she answered that her name was Kathy and I had an IRA up for review and left the phone #877-836-2333 for a return call, which I did not or will not call.  Please be aware as this is a scam to gain personal information and here you go again with IDENTITY THEFT in the making.  Also I did receive a post card with the same phone number and at the top if the card in the area for a return address the only wording was Annuity and Insurance Services.

This is a scam.. the number won't work..

There isn't even a name on the card that asks you to call this number!

Rec'd the card today. There is no name to ask for and there is not a companies name. I'll have to call the company that handles my item and tell them about this. They may want to alert others of this scam......

Received a card today.  Medina OH Permit 66, Annunity & Insurance Services on the front of the card.  I called 877-836-2333. It was too late in the day for the East Coast. The recording did not voice the name of the company.  I sent email to our Financial Advisor with info before I tried the reverse phone number look up. Haven't received an answer back from him yet. I found all these complaints when I typed in the phone number. What a waste of time!  Scam, scam,scam.  Bet Clark Howard would be interested in hearing of this.

I received the card today that said the end of a surrender period is a positive event that means an owner may cash or make withdrawals w/o any surrender charge.  I called the ph # 877-836-2333 to ask for explanation and which insurance company this was from.  The woman who answered the phone was curt (to put it kindly!) and would not giving me any info saying "they work with several agencies and cannot disclose this infrmation".  Unfortunately I gave her my mother-in-laws date of birth.  My mother in law is under hospice care and this really upset me.  Is there any way to report this scam?  Thanks.

Received the same card in the mail today 30 March. Seems this outfit sends out some 30,000 postcards per day looking for suckers.

Received post card 2nd time in 6 mos.
Same phone number.
No such company!
Report to FEDS!

Received the postcard stating my annuity has reached its surrender period.  Called the number and was given vague answers when I asked pointed questions.  If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck and smells like a duck ... I'm betting this is phishing duck !!!  Slime Balls preying on folks .

***   SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS, and more SCAMMERS.  Beware, these people will ask for personal info should you contact them.  DO NOT REPLY.  Just think about it:  unsolicitated postcard, no company name/address, no personal name, no return address, only a phone number to call which leaves you with no consumer protection should you call back BECAUSE IT IS YOU WHO CALLED THEM.  Red flags all over.  Very calculated scheme to scam you of your personal info.  DO NOT FALL FOR IT.   ***

Just recd a card in the mail from these folks. I retired a year and half ago so I'm very weary of alerts like this. Thank goodness for google. I just googled their phone number and read all your tips. Why do people still insist on preying on seniors?
