- lisa replies to maryThis 18778367469 keeps on calling me saying I owe them money. Is anyone else getting the same phone call.
- jsteezn| 4 repliesI received a call from this # (877-836-7469 x302 for Mark Williams), he represented it as a balance for Chase Bank from past overdrafts and offering a settlement for paid in full. I made two payments (totaling $388) and just received my "paid in full" documentation. Its stated as a payday loan for pay day yes!! I did take out a couple of payday loans years ago, but have gone back to the original deptors and confirmed they are ALL PAID in FULL!! Done. So sick of predators. FRAUD!!

http://www.cashnetusa.com/consumer-notices - WolfmanJack replies to jsteeznSo they called you up out of the blue and said you owed money. Of course they provided proof right? They provided proof that they were entitled to collect this loan, they provided proof that the loan really was your responsibility right? They provided this in writing, sent by US mail since E mail, fax, phone calls, or even smoke signals are not acceptable according to Federal Law (FDCPA). How did you pay them, green dot card, Western Union, bank withdrawal? What is the physical address of this company since there seems to be no information on the web? How did they send this paid in full letter?
- WolfmanJackWhat I have found out. JR Luco or Lucor is in a forum thread, and lists their address In New York. They have no web site or BBB page, no Bizapedia page, nor are they registered in NY State under that name (note that as a debt collector it is required by law in NY for them to be registered).

Payday Loan Yes Has two web sites, one where they say they are a lender and another where they say they are not a lender:

And not a very good recommendation from the BBB: http://www.bbb.org/chicago/business-reviews/p ... ago-il-88386411
It is illegal in New York State to attempt to collect on any payday loans since they are also illegal in that state. - lisa replies to jsteeznHow did they send the letter to you. By email
- amber replies to lisaI also have received a call from this Jordan lady . She threatened I was being sued by Chase Bank for unpaid payday loan. I just made a $200 payment yesterday. She emailed me a letter of payment arrangements. How do I report this or find out if it's really fraud?!
