they threatened a lawsuit saying I took out a cash advance and I've never had one from anyone or any where.

I received a call from this number too, threatening to sue me over a cash advance... all my advances have been paid off for the past 2 years, and I have none that I'm paying on.

These jokers are saying I have a payday loan I didnt pay off. They said they are officers, and if I didnt pay within the hour, someone would come and pick me up and deliver me to them.
Needless to say, I called their bluff and no one arrived.

Samsung Francis from 1-877-836-8135 called and left a voice mail stating that if I do not call back they are going to file charges on me and arrest me. I spoke to them when he called my work and I asked him for his name (real name) and address and phone number and when he gave me a bogus address I called him on it and he stated that he did not have to give me any info and then I told him that then I would not speak to him either. He tried calling back but each time I would do the same thing. He stopped after the third time. I am sure he will call again....and I will do the same thing again....

Called twice today, didn't answer either one. Left messages both times, telling me it was important that I call him back and that all he could say was "good luck" if I didn't. Been through this before. Ignore them, folks. You owe them -nothing-. Let them bleat to your answering machine and laugh at their attempts to scare you.

I also have received many phone calls from this person many times. Threatening. How do we stop these calls??? I receive them at work and at home....

bad accent, couldn't understand him/her? Had the same thing happen last year. My sister called pretending to be a journalist and had them on the ropes.I
Ignore them. If a take a call I am going to have some fun with them for sure. maybe speak in pig latin to them.

I received a call from this number with a guy with a bad accent.  He said he was calling from Microsoft and that people are looking in my computer and he needs to  have him let him help me so that he can fix the issue.  Our phone id said "private caller" so we asked him for the number to Mircosoft where he was and he gave is this 877-836-8135 and we told him we'd call him back.  We asked where he was located and he said Arcadia, California.  We could not find any Microsoft addresses in California and when we looked up the phone number, this is the page we ended up on.  We are treating it as a scammer trying to get information to get in to our computer with our help.
