They have called my dad and my employer. A "Mrs. Perkins" calls and states that they are in the process of filing a case in my county and serving me papers at work or at home. I called and spoke with "Steve" xt 313, he is the rudest person ever!
1. He would not tell me what company he supposedly represents
2. He would not tell me the amount
3. He would not give me the addres for "security reasons"
4. When I stated that I would have my lawyer call him he got upset.
5. I told him that I filed bankruptcy last year and all my debts were discharged including a payday loan. When I told him this he stated that I "signed" a paper that said I would not file bankruptcy.
6. He told me that I was committing fraud since I closed the bank account that they were trying to get money from
SCAM!

Have the attorney who handled your bankruptcy call them.

My mother received a call this morning asking for myself in my maiden and married name.  I have payday loan's outstanding.  I'm prepared to pay this off, but lost my paperwork when my internet carrier cut me off.  I have no access to my old email account.  This woman "Ms Payne", was awful.  She threatened to take out a warrant, no specific time. Mentioned jail time, FRAUD, ACCOUNT NUMBER, Transaction, etc.  Thank You All.  I've done some research and I'm glad I'm not the only one.  I will attempt to talk with this woman tommarrow or the companies
