Fake IRS caller.  Recorded robo call impersonating an IRS agent

Fake call IRS

This number called me twice. I called back and when I asked if it was a scam the guys was very rude and disrespectful and hung up on me.

Got a call from this number 3 times with a prerecorded message from fake IRS. It is so bad that they use "your name" instead of your actual name. Just trying to get you to call them back so they can scare you into giving them money.

They call and say they are trying to collect IRS owed debt...  All pre-recorded, never revealing a company name.  I know the IRS does not cold call, they send offical letters through the mail....

They say if i dont call back in 24 hours or have my lawer call they are going to take assets from my bank account... I've already called my bank and told them be aware of any strange activity...They told me to report the number...

This time these people are supposed to be there to help you settle your debt with the IRS. Guess they should make sure you have one before they call

Changing tactics --- I answered, caller indicated he was a police officer and a legal case had been brought against me.  I told him to "Serve me, or don't bother me".  No reply

This is definitely a scam.  They leave an automated message. The REAL IRS does not contact you this way.  They would use certified mail.

Received call from person impersonating IRS agent.

This another one of those phone numbers that people are calling from & pretending to be from the IRS. I have NEVER done anything wrong tax wise! I am 100% sure of this! This is definitely a scam! This has been going on for WAY too long & needs to STOP NOW! This is harassment! The IRS has even made a statement saying that they will NEVER call anyone EVER! If the IRS needs to get in touch w/ someone then they will send a letter in the mail, so I know that this is bogus.

Robo call from "I.R.S." saying i owe money and to call this number or they will freeze my assets, jokes on them!  I.R.S. does NOT call your home.

I rec'd a call from this number . Telling me it was the IRS and that I am a criminal.  He told me not to talk until he was finished.  He was very rude.  I told him I didn't receive anything in the mail and he told me that I lied about receiving mail.  That they are going to put a lien on my account and take 90% of my wages.  He was very rude to me. Calling me a criminal several times.

So these idiots calming to be the irs call my wife today same story as everyone else on here calming shes owes and she was going to jail since she lied on taxes from 09-14 so I call te number back listen to this idiot and he tells me all her info first red flag irs won't give anyone else any info then he tells me my wife lied on her taxes from 11-15 second red flag then when he asked if I had any ? I said ya first you call my wife about taxes from 09-14 and now tell me 11-15 so which is it he starts studdering and hangs up on me wtf lol and to top it off my wife is a stay at home mom and hasn't filed taxes in years red flags all over the place feel sorry for those who fall for this scam

Just got a call from this number claiming to be the IRS.  First off they didn't use my legal name (used a nickname), spoke with a thick accent.  I didn't give him a chance to go into his reason for calling or to get nasty with me..I got nasty with him.  Called him a few choice names and told him I know it's a scam and to stop the harassment.
