Also includeda case # My brother-in-law got a voicemail today from a Mr. Carr... Said he was with smith & associates left a number and a ex for me to call him back when I tried to returne the phone call I was sent to a voicemail for a Mike Knowles. I'm not sure what it was about and I'm not callin him back again! After readin the post that were left on here from other ppl I believe it is a scam I can't for the life of me figure out y or for what reason they would be callin me.... It just doesn't make any sents to me!!!!

I got a call from them too. Mine was from an internet loan that I did not pay back. And it was legit. You may want to call them back because they are a legal team.

I had taken out a pay day loan for $300.00, a Mike Knowles had told me I need to satisfy this debt b/c it is in legal hands now and If I dont they are going to take me to court.  I set up for them to take monies out of my account 2x a month. (which was hundreds more then my pay day loan)
My last and final payment was declined without my knowledge, he had called my place of employment but would never leave a # for me to return his call. I finally had gotten to speak to this ignorant unprofessional man today, who had started to scream at me and harrass me, so I had to hang up; he preceeded to call my employment every minute after that and threaten he will keep calling.... Stating he is going to Garnish my pay for $3,500.00 for a measley $112.00 that was owed as my last payment.
I then had to then spoke to a Joe Rizzo who was much more professional and told them I will make good faith on the balance and close the case!!!  I am reporting Smith and Associates and Mike Knowles to the BBB, for harassment at my employment place, I think it is all just WRONG!!!   I think they got more money then what was owed to them as well....
