- D| 1 replyThis is a scam. It is definitely NOT NAVIENT!!! My loans are through them. I know this for fact. This is nothing more then some damn terrorist [***] trying to steal money from Americans. Thank god trump will get rid of them.
- Caller: Student debt forgiveness
- AM replies to DI can confirm they're definitely scamming, I've dealt with them in the past and now they call again pitching the same story with a different person, as if they completely forgot they've already tried this on me, just push a little for their credentials and they buckle

- LisaI have received several calls from them today and I picked up the first one and said no, hung up. How am I getting on these call lists?
- WynnThese scum bags are calling on a loan that my deceased daughter had, The federal government forgave this loan. They must think I am stupid. It hurts that ask to speak to her. I have repeatedly told them she is dead and they called me a liar. I'm calling everyone I know to get these scumbags in jail.

- AnnThis is a scam all the way. I have Navient and tons of student loan debt from another lender. Please be aware and tell everyone you know: There is no such thing as student loan forgiveness. Ever! There are only a few ways to get some of your loan forgiven. Mostly you have to have been a teacher for a few years or served in a government or not profit. The lenders would never call you about student loan forgiveness programs because then they would never make any money. They prey on uninformed, gullible people.

- alySCAM!!!!!!!!!!
- Bob| 3 repliesCalls once a day everyday. Each time, I didn't answer and if I did it would just be silence for 10 seconds and then they would hang up. After a while I decided to pick up out of curiosity and they said they were looking for a "Melissa Hyde". Told them that there is no Melissa and that they have the wrong number, but they still keep calling.

- MikeHuntleton replies to Bob| 2 repliesCheck the documentation for your phone's blocking options or your phone service provider. You can block them from calling again.
- Bob replies to MikeHuntleton| 1 replyI've tried to block them along with many other telemarketer numbers many times with no success. I have even tried looking it up online on how to block them with the kind of phone that I have, and still had no success. Unfortunately, my phone doesn't have the option to block phone numbers, so I have to keep receiving their calls . :( I also don't have a lot of storage room on my phone, so I can't get any call blocker apps. Also, my phone is a Tracfone.
- MikeHuntleton replies to BobThe other alternative way is to use a blocking service, which might have a cost attached to it for mobile phones. Other than blocking methods, the only other thing I can think of is using some old style methods of simply preventing those calls from ringing by creating a contact list and adding them to it, then select a No Ring option for that list.
It won't block the call, but it will allow you to ignore it without being disturbed when they call.
