got a phone call with a case number, asking to call this number.  When I did I was asked for my SS#.  I advised I would not give my SS# without knowing what this was about.  She said she would not give me any information, and if I was not willing to tell her my SS#, she assumed I was not interested in resolving the case.  Does this seem odd?

angela its not odd I dont trust them its a bill collector.  I was told they were gonna come to my job and where I live.

They called again today, same threat.  Unwilling to give me the name of the third party they "represent".  Have seen Prudential come up under several other phone numbers.  SCAM

Again asked for details in writing; the response was this is past collections and now a litigation matter. Then why the "courtesy call"? They said I will now be served...
