Several calls from this number , they hangup as soon as i answer

Said that he was with State of Michigan new Gas Company and that we qualified for service.  I told him that because of scams I don't make those choses over the phone.  I told him to send some information in the mail, then he hung up!

I've had 5 calls so far since Dec. 16, 2010 from this #  1-877-888-5568.   I just got Caller ID back in Sept. 2010 and glad I did.  I don't answer any of the calls unless I know who it is or listen for a left message first.  Ignore it or report it I say !!!  These calls are persistant and are like a form of harrassment.

Very good! That was a smart move on your part. I usually get the same response, OR there is NOTHING on the other end. I try the 'irritation technique', by hitting the "#" sign key repeatedly for 20 or 30 times. Supposedly,  it confuses the automated computer dialing system, and it will kick your number out of their log. I dont know, but I am SICK TO DEATH of the phone ringing when I'm in the bathroom, or just left the room, AND FIND OUT that it's NOBODY! LOL
