Some fool threatening me with legal action.  I have receive these calls from other numbers lately too.  they make it look like it is coming from a local number.

Unknown caller. Does not indicate name of company on automated message. When you dial back, reps just put on hold. Very rude and sound like they're from the ghetto

Had this voicemail on my work phone. I have no idea what it is, but it sounds scammy.

Got multiple calls from this number talking very disrespectful and threatening me with legal actions against me and said I would be arrested

This number can also be linked with 716-398-4123. We need to press the FTC and our law enforcement to stop these ppl. They call family and friends and malign our names and scare them...plus they are rude. Always insist they send something in writing....it is the law and your legal right. Maybe we can catch, prosecute and do a class action.....so sick of being harrassed by criminals. It's so stressful. Just think of the ppl who fall for it.

I receive the same calls from 716-398-4123. They disguise the number as local numbers. What can we do I'm sick of being prayed on by these criminals.
ACROSS THE VALLEY: District Attorney's office warns of phone scam

Northumberland County District Attorney’s office is reporting a scam that occurred on Monday.
District Attorney Tony Matulewicz said a Northumberland County resident received a message on her phone advising her to call 716-398-4123 and speak to a mediator about legal allegations. This area code is assigned to the western corner of New York.
The electronic message warned the resident that failure to act would warrant sending a process server to her door and a forfeiture of her rights. The call ended with the statement, “You have officially been notified,” Matulewicz said.

When the resident returned the call, she spoke to a person claiming to be a mediator for an undisclosed company. The mediator advised her to pay $1,500 as restitution for an unpaid loan taken out in 2012 and said paying this sum would settle the case, Matulewicz said.
When the residents asked for details about the loan, the scammer would not identify the name of the bank or any other details associated with the loan. The recipient of the call contacted law enforcement about the scam, Matulewicz said.

Received a voicemail, his name is Scott with Legal One Mediators.  He has a file in his office with my name and social.  He needs a certified letter for a pending claim against me.  Totally bogus.

Daughter got a call from this number, but they were asking for me saying I had a debt and that legal action would be taken including somebody contacting my work if I didn’t take care of matters with them. The initial number came in as a local Ohio number, but then said hit zero to connect with mediator for details. He said his name was Scott Preston, phone number 877-906-5513 Ext 106. I told him attorney would be contacting them because the call was of a scam nature and he thanked me and got off the phone quickly at that point.

Same as above. Called my husband too and scared him. Luckily I stay up to date with scammers.

These guys are using 617 area code... they are calling work and my cell phone. They are so dumb they say they sent a letter of collection to two addresses that I have move from there for over ten years.  When they call it sounds like they are talking to you in the bathroom, so much echo. -877-906-5513, this is the email they sent me and call me from this number 617-830-7106.
They said is a credit card that I had with HSBC, I call HSBC to the folder department and they had nothing on me. What should I do...

A very rude Ms. Copeland has threatened legal action for a debt with HSBC. When asked to send information and terms in writing, she became angry stating, "Please answer the summons and go to court." This debt's statute of limitations has expired and cannot be pursued in court.

100% SCAM. They've been calling us same as everyone's experience above. Called themselves Legal One Mediations. I decided I'm going to figure them out. Got them to send me documentation. Noted it basically looks like a word doc. No LLC. No such company comes up in any search. The address points to a UPS store in Norcross GA. I called that store and it is, in fact, UPS. The address is a UPS box number. So basically you're sending a check to a PO Box. Pretty fishy. Also, hey what a coincidence, it was also an HSBC account they claim we owe money on. They must have got a bunch of HSBC account info or something. Recently my information was part of a huge theft from an institution's hard drives. So hmmm...

They told me i was gonna go to jail and take me down the dirt rode if i didnt pay 5,000.00 and i dont know what to do. They called my mom my sister and father in law

They called me from 512-605-0981. Effing Scammers!

I keep getting calls from this number and other numbers with the same stupid message about a legal matter.
These people are crooks, flag/report them so hopefully law enforcement authorities will stop them.

They have done the same to me, calling my family and leaving those threatening  messages.  Just ignore them.  If there is a legal issue, they are required by law to inform you in writing/by mail.  So always ignore these calls and don't let it get to you.  Finally keep blocking these numbers on your phone,

Claiming I owe 2000.00 on a Capital One account I never had.
