I was contacted by phone by someone claiming to be Frank Bennett, working for the Consumer Protection Bureau located at 941 North Capitol Street, N.E., Washington CD 20002, phone 202-866-7633 or 877-906-7315 x1002. He said that I was a sweepstakes winner and a company called Holiday Sweepstakes has been trying to contact me about and award of $955K that has had $205K taken out by the IRS leaving $750K that will be delivered to me. He says that  Holiday Sweepstakes is located at 6551 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, phone 855-331-2639 and I should talk to Angela White at 702-936-6707. He says that I will have to pay for an insurance to receive the check at the coat of one percent of my winnings or $7,500 which will be refunded to me. He says that I’ll be receiving a W-1099 form (which I don’t think even exists) to prove to the IRS that the taxes have been paid.

All of this seems very suspicious to me and I have no intent of following through with any of it.

A woman called me this morning.  Said her name was Victoria Hills and was calling from the Consumer Protection Bureau and that I was being awarded $750,000 from Holiday Sweepstakes. She said that she checked it out and it was legit but that I had to pay for the processing.  At this point I said "I don't believe you."  She said, "Okay, lets not waste each other's time" and she hung up.  When I called the number back - they claimed to be a doctor's office and hung up on me.

Claim is that I am listed in public records as a sweepstakes winner and as of yet it is unclaimed. Consumer protection agent Charles King badge number 1221dc want me to go to public library to use a computer (I don't have one) and call him at 18779067315 ext 1009 so that he can walk me threw the means to collect an actual sweepstakes win in my name. This is the reason I get daily phone calls from scammers trying to get me to pay fees in order to collect my. Winnings.

These people should be in jail.  John Perkins Contacted my 86 yr old mother along with Angela White from this number. They were so nice to my mom and told her that she had one $750,000 and they scammed her out of $1800 to a strange person named Donna Solomon. She was scammed into overnighting a $30,000 check which would supposedly pay for luxury tax for New York State. Fortunately we caught that in time to stop payment on the check. She was only out the $1800 because there was no one responding when she tried to reach them. This is called lifetime sweepstakes. It is a complete scam and fraud.
