877-906-9121 ROBOCALLER.  This robocaller tried to call today but my robocall blocker service intercepted the call.

spectrum blocked the call after 1 ring.

Calls and leaves no message

Called, left no voicemail. Number likely spoofed by spammer/scammer. Blocked.

It's a scammer that has spoofed the Spectrum tel number. Blocked.

Long silent on my speaker phone, then super loud audio feedback, then hang-up.

"Spectrum" ID robocaller. Scammer repeat calls under different spoofed numbers. No msg.

"Spectrum" harasser call. Repeat calls using different numbers.

It is not Spectrum and not a us number.  Fake number saying they are spectrum.

Why doesn't Spectrum aggressively go after these scammers. After all, it reflects very badly on the company. The US government seems to talk a lot about telephone fraud but seem to be hamstring when going after these. crooks. Any and all former landline numbers that are no longer in service should. become unusable.

Well you are clearly and completely uninformed.  Spectrum is not a law enforcement agency.  99% of scams originate overseas where law enforcement has no jurisdiction.  Even if phone number were to become unusable the numbers themselves could still be spoofed.  Now you are probably wondering what I mean by "spoofed", correct?  You should look up "Caller ID Spoofing" to find out what I am posting about.

Listed as “missed call” from “spectrum” this am.  Since I didn’t even hear it ring, it must have been blocked by my spam call blocker — which is activated through Spectrum :).

This one was unusual.  I was on a call with a car warranty scammer and I heard a call waiting beep showing this Spectrum scammer was waiting in line to talk to me.  Love it when scammers walk over each other.  They probably even work in the same "boiler room".   Anyway the alleged Spectrum message was " Prices for TV, phone, and Internet have recently dropped as much as 50 percent and include up to $200.00 and visa gift cards.  Please press one to get your free no obligation quote. "  As always I didn't press anything but my curiosity as to what the scam was about, was satisfied.

Missed call from this number today but didn't leave a message.  So glad I didn't pick up this scammers call!!!
