    CONCERNED...
I received a message saying that there had been multiple attempts to get in touch with me, and that my case was going forward without my input.  I returned the call.  I spoke with a woman who insisted that I confirm my phone number.  She refused to tell me what the call was about.  I asked to speak to her supervisor.  She said that she was the supervisor and that nobody had ever given her such a hard time about giving their phone number.  She spoke quickly and impatiently.  I am not in debt and am not involved in a civil suit, so believe this was an attemt at identity theft.

Received a message from Matthew Gallardi and said he was calling from TPS and Associates about a pending civil case being filed against me. The number that showed was 1111111111. He left a message and asked me to call 877-917-0110. I KNOW there isn't a civil case and wanted to call back, but after reading the last few posts, i will not be doing that.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Matt Gallardy from PBS and Associates, the caller ID showed 111-111-111 and them said it was about a civil claim, provided a case number but never onced mentioned a name or what the suit was about.  A quick google search showed several comapnies with this name including The #1 Credit Score Building Site in America, but no law firms.

I got a call from the 484-350-4306 number.  I checked with the Florida Attorney General's Office, and they are a scam with many phone numbers.  Make sure that you check your credit reports to ensure they have not posted anything on there.

Exactly what just happened to me. And I'm 8 months pregnant on bed rest not working so how could they contact my employer unless my bed is talking to them when I'm asleep.  They are rude and try to use baseless scare tactics to get money out of ppl.  I almost sent them money but I'm scared they aren't who they say they are. Besides I'm trying to enjoy this difficult pregnancy.  Beware! Beware! Beware!

Repost: Turning Point Solutions LLC / TPS & Associates / GS Holdings LLC in Cheektowaga, NY

The "GS" is likely for principal Sam Galbo, who runs another fraud shop in town, Galaxy Capital Solutions. These are typical payday loan collection thugs who are allergic to legal compliance.

In October 2013 TPS settled with Maryland regulators for apparently violating state and federal collection practice law, working without a state license, and trying to collect usurious and unenforceable loans, probably the online payday kind. It was ordered to pay a modest fine, refund hundreds apiece to named victims, and cancel all its other debt claims against Maryland residents.

TPS currently carries a 'D' rating and a red-lettered alert from BBB, but no detailed complaints are available. I'm sure a quick payment to become "accredited" will goose that grade to at least a 'B'.

Never let bullies on the phone confuse extortion with debt collection. Honest debt collectors do not typically send their claims straight to a judge, and they don't take your ransom money to broker quick deals with so-called "process servers". There are no secretive "arbitrators", "assessment specialists", "detectives", "investigators", "mediators", "mitigators", or "prelitigation specialists". They are sweaty double-talking criminals with a script full of coercive remarks. The agents' horrid threats are empty and their conduct is illegal.

Lawful debt collection is a process, not an ambush. Early in that process you must be given a specific notice about your alleged debt and how to dispute it. From there, you have a right to obtain proof of claim *on paper*. Federal law does not expect you to take only the word of strangers on the phone that bad things are about to happen. Do not reward lawbreakers with your money. Challenge them always, sue them if you can.

I got a call from this number yesterday claiming to be Community Home Plan Services - a company that warrants your home appliances such as furnace, AC, water heater for $18 a month (and other appliances at additional cost). If the covered appliance needs repairing they will have the item repaired with no deductible. I question whether it is a ligit company but have no proof at this time. They are sending me the contract language.
One suspicious thing is that first they called me on a number from local town about 10 miles away. Then after talking with her a couple minutes we were disconnected and she called me back on 877-917-0110 to finish the sales pitch. She said she was calling from Florida. I think they were "spoofing" the local phone number

CPP Community Plans and P877-917-0110 was posted on my mother's credit card. She and I have no idea what this is for.  It is in the amount of $200.00. I have called this number & it always goes to a voice message. I have given my number and name and have requested a call back several times.  I have never gotten a call back. My mom is elderly & I feel this is a prey on the senior population. I am her POA and did not authorize a charge in this amount to CPP Community Plans.....
