People keep calling me

They called me just now.  I've received calls before from people trying to scam me.  Is this another one?

This number has been calling me several times but no voicemail. Today I received a call from this number again and this time there is a voicemail. I do not owe any payday loan whatsoever. They left me a voicemail saying this is a legal issue and need for me to sign some sort of letter.

I called this number with a block number and someone picked up right away...couldn't understand how introduction if he said his company or not.

This number is for a collection agency. They've called my cell several times. When I pick up, I get a recorded message saying before they serve legal documents, they need to hear from someone. Then you get a menu sayimg if you want to talk to their mediation department press 1. I called the number back and got a very rude gentleman, who said he need to speak to a Gary King. I informed him I had no idea who that was, this was my personal cell phone, I had the number for several years, and directed him to never call this number again. He grumbled he would remove the number from their file and slammed the phone down. This is a lie, I've told them not to call me several times, but the calls continue.

Iam also receiving odd calls from this scam company all of sudden. I think someone has given my name to this company. This is so strange. I dont know what is going on with this matter? You never get someone to answer the phone when you call the number back. Yet they want you to leave your personal information on a recording for them. Its implied they will call you back. I looked up the name of the company on line and in the phone book they are not listed. The name of the company they gave me was sheridan and bailiey financial group. Furthermore they keep harrassing me to sign legal papers. Very suspicious.

I have been getting several calls from this number for the past couple of weeks.  Obviously, these are scam artists or we all wouldn't be randomly receiving these harassing calls. Does anyone know who we contact inorder to stop these calls???

When I told them that I dont know who they are or who they say they're representing, and to please provide proof that I am really the person they want. They tell me that they dont have any documents showing that and if I want proof then I need to look it up myself. I called my attorney this morning and he advised me to ignore the calls said that these guys are running a scam. That if theyre a real debt collector, they would have proof and would be able to verify the debt. All this place has in my name, email address and now my phone number. Ill block their number cause they're seriously RUDE! No corporation works like that. Scammers! Get a real job!

Ive had quite a few call from them as well. They said they were calling to reach an EX in-law of mine, which I have not personally seen in atleast 15 years! They woman actually argued with me saying that he gave her my number! Ummm...NO!! I them advised her to not ever call my phone again. That was 2 days ago. So..today I get woke up at 8am by them again. I was asleep so I hung up!! A couple hours later I call back to speak to a supervisor to complain & get my number removed! The ignorant man that answered said he was the ' lead' and could help me. When I started to explain...He immediatly started talking over me..being incredibly rude!!! He told me that there was no reason for a drug out story & that he would removed my nunver. He didnt want to hear about his jacked up employees! (apparently because He is One!!) Ithen vetbally let him have it bigtime! The unprofessional jerk slammed the phone down!! This is soooo not the end of Me!!!!

File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, FTC.gov.  Put in as much info as you can.  They do investigate and if enough of us complain they will do something about it.

This number keeps calling my house and leaving a message for someone I have never heard of.  I have talked to people a couple of times and they say they are removing my number.  But they still call back.  I am filing a complaint with the FTC.  They do investigate.  I hope eveyone on this site files a complaint and then they will leave us alone.

they had the lsst four digits of my Social and they knew where I worked last. That is crazy i have never taekn out a loan before in my life! And they said that I had in fact takn a loan in 2008. I would like to know not only how they got my name and last four digits of my social but where I was working at the time as well. They didnt have my number but had my mother in laws number . This is the mesage that was left for me.

"Angelique Topete we have been obtained to locate and notify you of a very important pending matter that requires you immediate attention.  We have important documents that may require your signature and need to be processed pending on discovery and immediate mediation dept.  Please call 877-917-9712 - this serves as record of final attempt."

When I told them that they had the wrong person theysaid they did not think so . They gave me their PO BOX which is PO  BOX 373 Amherst New York 14226. Pleasw let me know that outcome.

I reported this number to the Do Not Call folks.  Their number is 1-888-382-1222.

Very interesting becasue I actually got the same call, same recording....from 877-740-7427. I just noticed as I was also cleaning out paperwork I found a collection notice more like a fake one, that says verification/affidavit of indebtedness. It actually said I took out a loan in 2005-which is a lie! Never took a payday loan out in my life. However that debt was bought by Norther Resolution Group, LLC...what is funny is that the address is different from Anglique Topete by a few digits: PO BOX 566 Amherst New York 14226. Plus if this was true, it is a scam because there is a statue of limitation on debt! That was over 7 years ago!

I dont owe anyone any money i have no bad  debts or outsatnding I have over 700 plus scores. That number just called me so it has to be a scam ... It may be from craigslist i gave someone my info on there my mistake so it is a scams if i owe no one money there is no other explanation

i also receive calls from 877 917 9712, telling me  i have two hours to call back their mediator wont say what the  debt is. really rude voice. Im glad i looked up this site. this is two scammers in one week. ill block  teir number right . now.

i've gotten 2 calls from them about my ex-husband.  We've been divorced over 10 years, and I have new phone number since then.  So how do they get my info?  I called back once and they were rude then too.  Told them to not call me about my ex-husband.  It has to be scam.
