Got an sms from sms@myaccount.chase.com, but don't have the card in question. I'm hoping it's a phishing scam or else somoeone has a card out in my name, in which case it's identity theft.

I got a text today from 3648 to call 18779668524 since my card 511182********** was blocked SCAM FRAUD. i dont have a card with that # and neeither does anyone else here apparently. DONT BE A VICTIM OF IDENTITY THEFT!!! DO NOT CALL OR TXT BACK OR GIVE INFO!!! JUST DELETE THE TXT AND YOU WILL BE FINE!!!!

I just got a text from 3681 saying  "sms@myaccount.chase.com / CHASE. Call 1-877-966-8524 to find out why your debit/mastercard (511182**********) was blovked. Thank you/ "  which is B.S. cuz my card is in another bank, hasnt been blocked, and doesnt start with 5111182

Please people dont call back and give info. This is an attempt to test your level of stupidity and steal your money, Dont fall for it.

i just got a text too and called back, they asked for my card no and i didn't have the card with me so i hung up. I went online to check my account and my online account was not blocked so, i called back the same no again and the phone kept ringing.

I received same exact text. Phishing; DO NOT RESPOND!!!

My sister got a text. She called and told me - I called the number after blocking my own number. It said the voice mail box was closed. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION, IT'S A SCAM.

I just received this text too. I called and gave a phony card #
It then asked for my PIN # so they could "unblock" it. I provided a phony PIN too. It asked me to please hold.Apparently they were checking to see if they could use this card. Another recorded message about 30 seconds later asked mr to please re-enter my PIN, because my PIN provided did not match that account.
LOL

My bofriend got the same text. I work in banking and was trained on this type of thing so luckily I thought on my feet and told him right away it was a scam.

Exact same thing. Text number 3504. The number in the title was listed to call.

Oh, and when I called all it said was "inbox full". Obvious scam.

Same thing. Don't respond. Seems these were sent out enmasse.
