Received a call from 1-877-999-7887 asking me to call 1-877-996-4142 between 8:00 a.m. and midnight CST, for an important message.

Someone at this number calls early mornings or during the day but I always hang up because these calls are very annoying.

received call from this number called the number back was not able to understand the name of the company machine continue to say please enter 10 digit account # no number to give so i waited on line to get a live person and she advise was with a company with affilate names of (midnight velvet-seventh avenue-swiss colony etc advise person had wrong number

Received calls from Ms Mosack and midnight velvet called back and they said could not remove or give me any info till I gave them phone, address and name I told them they should have all that and they sound like a porn company to stop calling.  Would not give me any info and said would not stop calling until I gave them all info.  And account # on the back of a magazine please who puts an account# on the back of a magazine.  Very shady!!!!!!!!

The above number called my wife's cell phone asking her to call back for an important message from Midnight Velvet. The cell phone is registered with the Do Not Call Registery although Cell phones do not have to be registered. Midnight Velvet is a Fashion telemarketer.

These people keep calling me and they keep asking me for different and i keep telling them number. Then hey say"oh we'll call back later then." This is very annoying. Should I contact the police?

This is a shady sounding place called Midnight Velvet Payments - they call at regular intervals leaving automated messages for you to call them - then when you do they want to get information from you without bothering to tell you what it's about.  We've never done business with them nor do we owe them money.

This number (877-996-4142) is from Midnight Velvet. This is usually the number that calls when you don't make your monthly payment. If you do not have an account with them then you should contact them and let them know. If it's not on your credit report then it's not that serious. If you want the calls to stop then you should contact them.

I want these crazies to leave me alone and stop calling on my phone which I pay for and they have no business intruding on my privicy

The company is not shady, check their website.  I got a missed call from this number a few days ago, went on the co's website and had explained the sit and they said they would remove.

They just keep calling not even sure why but they hang up when u answer.

MIDNIGHT VELVET IS A MAGAZINE/COMPANY THAT SELLS ALL KINDS OF STUFF. .  THE CALL WAS JUST A REMINDER THAT MY PAYMENT WAS DUE. .   I FORGOT. . . ;)

Yes, that number belongs to Midnight Velvet a catalog merchandise/clothing shop. They are a legitimate store that sometimes has the wrong customer information. Unfortunately it's hard to get it corrected when all they do is call with an automated message and their customer service is not very friendly. I have had to go back and forth with auto messages until I'm so frustrated I let the calls go unanswered. They really do need to have a human that is willing to work with you to straighten out any problems.
I like the merchandise, just don't like their customer service.

I have been getting annoying automated calls from Miss Mozak at 877-996-4142 (Midnight Velvet) on my cell phone for several months.  I have never been a customer of this company and because of this annoyance and cell phone costs, I will never buy anything from this company.  My next step is to file a complaint with the BBB and the FCC.
