They called me regarding a malicious virus from my computer. I know this kind of calls are hoax. I asked the guy what my ip address is and what OS am I using and he hang up. This calls are pony.

Why exactly are they calling? I have had multiple calls from this number? what is the purpose of informing  of a malicious virus and then giving a reason for the call but to warn of what? The number they called is new and she said it is was registered when I bought my router? WTF? I bought my system 4 years ago, so what is this?

They want you to sign up for some sort of antivirus system.
When I spoke to them they didn't even know what an apple system was but said they were calling because they got a system warning from Windows about my system???????

same number keeps calling me everyday so annoying.First time i answered the phone some woman asked if i had credit cards i said i dont deal with credit cards and hung up.These people are scammers.

Got a call from them today around 1:10 pm. Normally I would be working,and would find it on my call display.I just added it to my blocked numbers,problem solved.

I keep on getting phone calls from this number, 1x a week, funny thing is it's usually the same guy named chris with an East Indian accent. lol. always the same story, calling from canada computer database system, we're getting error reports from your computer & your antivirus system is not working. last time i laughed at him & said i dont have a computer. he had my name & address & i said ya that's me but i dont own a computer....following week he calls again, i hand over the phone to my husband & my hubby asks him how can my computer be sending you error reports if it's turned off? where are you located? how do you know what's on my computer? lolol....my hubby was asking him all these questions & "chris" told him to go to the computer & he will give him instructions on how to repair it. my hubby was at the bbq & played along...told him to enter a bunch of letters & tell him what appears on the screen...my hubby says SCAM ARTIST....my hubby said it says SCAM....chris said it should say timewaster, my hubby said timewaster? you're wasting my time & hung up. unbelievable.

Had a friend who was taken in by this scam. She was directed to a website & was convinced to pay for some sort of anti-virus software with her credit card. This is the second call I have received. The caller has a South-Asian accent. The first time I said I had a MAC when the caller claimed he was calling from Microsoft. This time I just hung up after accusing the person of scamming

called again, so i entertain myself on wasting their time, just act to give them the event viewer log, i say all i see is an apple, they get pissed, funny as hell. this AM got another, i asked who he worked for, he answered "windows operating system", i said thats not microsoft is it, after he realized i was on to him , he started yelling and saying he'd rape my family etc. i laughed and told him hed have to be over 5'1", he was speechless, c'mon all lets [***] with them, its real fun.

RECEIVED A CALL TODAY ABOUT 4:30PM... MENTIONING THE PROBLEM I WAS HAVING WITH MY COMPUTER........TOLD HIM I DID NOT HAVE A PROBLEM.......HE INSISITED I DID BUT JUST DIDN'T KNOW IT!!!  TOLD HIM THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS WITH HIM AND THAT THIS WAS ALL A SCAM.....AND DONT EVER PHONE ME AGAIN.....THEN HUNG UP!!1   NOTE THAT THIS NUMBER CALLED A FEW TIMES PREVIOUSLY WHEN I WAS OUT AND HAS ALSO CALLED A FW OF MY FRIENDS.............

These jerks called us at 430 am on a Saturday my wife answered and I asked for the phone to rip them a new one and they hung up, GRRRR and to make it even worse u can't call them back!!!!
