Received call about windows on my computer wanted my internet provider and ip address

Did not pick up, they did not leave a message.

a guy with an Indian accent said he was from "Windows Support" , I asked how he feels about scamming people all day long - he hang up

Claims to be with Global Technical Services and that the IP of my computer is in foreign hands. They need to fix - an administrator for my computer cannot do anything.

They have my information and threatened to shut my computer down

What a nuisance!!  They call daily and never leave a message!?!

Scam: wanted to know my IP address

calling incessantly about a problem with my computer that foreign hackers are controlling 70% of my computer.  was told to not call me again.  continues to call back.

Gentleman with heavy foreign accent claims that my computer needs to be fixed because it is spewing viruses all across the internet. I asked him why he keeps calling after I told him to stop and said that he is in violation of the Do Not Call list. He said he wasn't spamming but you could hear multiple operators in the background.

Calls multiple times of day and when I finally answer they hang up

This # has called me 6 times in the last 2 days.  When I do try to answer they hang up and call back a few minutes later.   When you attempt to call the number bsck you get a message stating "the number you have dialed is unavailable from your calling area".

No message left.  Scam suspicion based on past posts.  Called a few times today.

Thought I'd have some fin with them.  The guy told me that hackers were trying to get into my computer.  I asked how that is possible in such a small space.

Complete scam telling me I have illegal activity on my computer and they can help me fix my windows. I told them I work at Microsoft and he immediately hung up

3 calls in 2 days-wish there was a way to get these scumbags.

I could start betting on how many times these people call every day.I do not answer.Glad for this web site.

Caller with foreign accent said he was from the technical dept at Microsoft.. I hung up before he could get any further.

Indian accent, said from Microsoft tech service. I hung up. Calls every day.
