Didn't leave a message but I called # back and said it was Comcast.

Called and left no message.

comcast trying to sell me digital voice...

He was reading from a script when I said "I disagree with that" and the agent wanted to get into an argument with me about how great comcast customer service was, at which point I went into a 4 minute point by point analysis of all the problems and issues I've had with Comcast.

This number has been calling my mobile for the past week.  I finally answered and it is Comcast trying to sell something.  I asked to have my number removed, and he said he would but it could take up to 30 days.
I am in the UK for a few weeks so they have been calling in the middle of the night for me, waking me up!

TIP:  I added this number as a contact in my phone and set the custom ringtone to Silent.

Here is what you can do to solve this spam calling problem.. Just call Comcast, once you finally reach a human person on the phone, tell them you want to be on the do not call list. They will do so and they will tell you that it will take 30 days till it gets in full effect.

they're not reading these, if you want them to stop you need to call Comcast and request to be removed.

They've called every day for the last month, and every time I pick up the phone I can hear some moron breathing, then they hang up. I finally had enough and called them back. Stupid Comcast. Our number is listed on the Do Not Call registry and has been for many years, so I don't know why they think they can call my house as they are *not* a none profit. I've looked over the paperwork from when we ordered Internet service from them, and nothing in there indicates that I opted in for promotional phone calls.

There is (as I understand it at least) a loophole in the Do Not Call Registry that if you have currently or in the recent past purchased goods or services from a company they have the ability to call you with offers like this even if you're in the Registry.

Ray, thanks much!  I just did this, so even though I still receive the calls my phone displays "Junk Comcast."

Just a reminder that when you are on the Do Not Call list you have to re-sign up for it every 6 months. It isn't permanent.
