Alex from Amazon technical support. Funny as I do not have an Amazon account. Scam. Hung up when I said I did not have an account.

Person said they were from Amazon and that you ordered  $78.12 and that if you didn't to call this number. Checked my account and nothing was there.  Called the number, someone answered immediately but I hung up. Scam!!

Received two calls. Person said they were from Amazon services and my visa card has been charged $77.99 and if i did not place the order I should immediately call 888-201-4777. Called the number and a guy responded saying he was ALEXA from Amazon and wanted to confirm my name and card number. I suspected and said let me check my Amazon account for this charge. He said - "no, no. don't check your account as it has been locked". I was able to check my account and there was no such transaction. I hung up. SCAM!!

They called left voice mail stated there was a charge on my Amazon Visa account and if I had placed an order to hang up if not I needed to call 888 201-4777, I did and as soon as they asked my name which I told them I felt worried and hung up, I don't have an Amazon Visa but do have an Amazon account and checked it and all alright. SCAM!! Blocked the number on my phone.

This number keeps calling, daily and more than 9nce. Same as other callers, we charged $77 on Amazon and please call Amazon...  Scam. I have blocked number

Same as other callers, they stated we charged $77 on Amazon and please call Amazon to verify and cancel.    I have an active order for $79, so i called with apprehension of a probable scam.. Busy....   800 notes confirmed this is a scam.

As others have said, the caller claims that a charge of $77 has been made on your Visa card, and to call immediately if the charge is not valid. I suspected a scam because I don't have a Visa card, and I checked my account with amazon via email, and there were no suspicious charges. I think that they try to trick people into giving their name and Visa card number.Beware! there should be a special place in hell for these scammers!

SCAM  A Robo call from Amazon saying I had a $77.00 charge on Visa.   I was to call Amazon immediately.
I do not have a current Visa card.

Gave another # to call but I was driving.  Said there was an order placed on my account.  When I got home I checked my Amazon account.  I didn't see any orders for today.

I made an amazon purchase last night and got a call about a $77 charge. Upon getting a service number I wrote it down and checked it with amazon's official customer support and chose to call the official number about the charge and the faulty number. It's an attempted scan from what I was told.

Got the same phone call I hung up as soon as they said I order 78.12, cause I knew I didn't. But checked my bank and my account with Amazon. Nothing, Total Scam! I blocked this number.

Called twice to our cell phone. Number not recognized; not picked up. Artificial voice left this voicemail: “Regarding your today's purchase on Amazon com you have been charged $77.99 on your Visa card if you have made this purchase on Amazon com and recognized it then simply hang up and your order will be delivered to you if you have not made any such transactions then call _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ on 888-395-9444 and cancel it right away again the number is 888-395-9444 thank you. The originating caller number is: 888-201-4777. Both numbers now blocked.
