maybe a scam waiting on paypal to verify security, told me to go get google play card. $100.00 for security check. Broken english speaking and i fell for it,

I was calling paypal when I somehow got a man stating I needed 2 go right 2 get a google gift card and call him back @ this #.

I was calling Paypal and a guy answered me and I had a problem in linking my bank card, so this guy insisted that I had to go and buy a prepaid Paypal card and I have to pay with my card and he was insisting very hard that he will stay on the phone with me. I hanged up with him to try another time to resolve the problem before going purchasing the prepaid card but he called me again and he gave me his supervisor as he said and both were insisting that I should go to buy a prepaid card and it is necessary to do because my account has some security issue. All was doubting, I didn't feel comfortable with them insisting and calling again, no call center has time to call the customer to do something .

Maybe calling Paypal from an Official number would ensure your talking to them and not a scammer from a phony support number, like this one.
