888-202-2101

This number called my DNC listed landline today at 1714 hours.  Because 99.9% of all calls on my landline are scam artists, I suspected that this was more of the same.  I picked up the phone but said nothing.  I'm guessing it was an auto-dialer waiting to hear a voice before it either triggered some idiot-message or directed the call to the next available scam artist because the call disconnected after a long moment.  Whitepages.com shows no match for the number.  I blocked my caller info and called it back.  It rang and rang and rang.  No one answered.  So, based on the evidence, I'm guessing it is just another scam artist, especially based on the timing of the call.

I received a call from this number 888-202-2101.  It was supposedly a lower your interest on your credit card.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST!

Credit card sevices... lower interest rates... last and final notice press... one now

Scammer?

I don't answer 888 calls. Do not call list is a waste because these outfits are based off shore. They probably purchased the DNC list and that's how they got your number!
