They announced ,while I was surfing, that I had a computer virus and I should call this number.I got
the lambshield trojan virus at the same time. what does anyone know?

Got a message to call this number because my system may be compromised.  I called 3 times and they answer the phone tech support but will not tell me anything else and when I start questioning them, they hang up on me!  Whatever this is is a scam!  I have virus protection on my computer and the last time I called they asked what protection I have, I asked them what does it matter what protection I have and they hung up on me!  Complete scam, don't waste your time calling!

This company took over my computer and opened 15 tabs on my Chrome browser. An audio played saying my system had been comprimised and to call 888-202-40287. I could not close the windows and had to close using task manager. This company is a scam. How do i report them to the proper authorities?

Was on 1channel.ch and whenever I clicked on a lnk it would open a new tab displaying this phone number. It started beeping and saying I needed to call this phone number to remove the malicious hardware, and would not let me close the page.

I just had the same thing as Amanda. I didn't call.

Called they seemedGit but really fishy so I reserched and so far it's a scam

I got this on my pc and called ...then I called my internet provider and they said there was no problem and it's probably a scam

I had this very realistic pop up from safari and I called in. The person want to help me and he sounded from India. We talked about how much he would charge me to connect support services. The company person claim that somebody was hacking in my computer and that I need to go the www.support.me so that he can connect my computer to his support technician. where it did not add up was the fact that apple usually want to fix the problem by downloading not by calling in.

Pop up on my mac says call this number 888-202-4028 and they sound very unprofessional.  When I questioned for their company name they hung up on me.

Wend to www.ecjobs.com, and this company put up a pop up on my computer saying that I'd better call in immediately.  I called.  Seemed professional at first (machine was talking to me).  Then, someone answered and hung up on me.  Consulted this wall.  Am deciding to leave it alone.  Thanks y'all.  Will update if anything further happens.

Got a pop-up to call immediately. Called, but as soon as he said they needed to access my computer, I said no. I called Time Warner and they confirmed that this is a scam.

I'm doing a spanish project in freshman high school.  why am I getting this, all I'm doing is looking at spanish menus of burgerking.
