Since my domains do not expire this time of year, I was sure it was a scam and checked in here. As suspected, a scam. Thank you all, who participate here to help keep each other safer!

I got this ridiculous voicemail from them. I too have my domains with GoDaddy and they are all set to auto-renew, so this is such a phishing scam. The lady had such an urgent sound of her voice. Such a bunch of scamming scammers!

Same experience. Karen called with an urgent voicemail message that my domain was expiring and asking me to call to renew. Like many of the posters, I also use GoDaddy so am wondering if the message above saying GoDaddy sold contact list is correct?

Left a message expressing extreme urgency at renewing my domain name. Caller ID identified them as "unknown" so the number they were calling from was blocked but this was the number they left in their voice mail.

They never identified who they were or what my domain names were and this is an obvious scam (my domain names are not expiring).

Robocall about my domain name expiring and it was urgent that I call to renew. Total spam. I have many domains thru GoDaddy not this place who didn't even identify themselves.

Same as most others commenting, voice mail saying I urgently need to call to renew my domain - except my domains are not with GoDaddy. I have two domains with the same web hosting and domain registration service. I checked and found I renewed one for a year back in November. The other isn't set to expire until July and I have it (like the other domain) on auto renew. Scam!

I highly doubt godaddy is selling their own clients to other people to lose us as clients. Domains that aren’t protected is public information. It has all our info listed. So it’s caused by people wanting to be cheap [***] and not pay for the privacy. Godaddy selling our info for 5 cents per name to lose 20 dollars a year plus hosting cost of $80-100 bucks a year to make 5 cents. Doesn’t make sense
