Listed as Telemarketer with a Severe block level on AT&T’s security app

I just got a pop up in my computer that  my computer was blocked and they listed several security issue possibilities.

I also got this message on house computer say “Windows protected Your PC and directed me to call this number 888 210 8530, I did call.... has Indian guy was helping, I hang up because on one of the questions on my computer it’s says click yes or no to allow the technical support have controls of my mouse computer... it’s sound fishy to me because why he would need to take control of my computer if it’s job was to help eliminate what ever that was blocking my computer..... by him taking over my computer he could had been the one who sent the message to my computer, plus he never said who he was he was just happy to help me without him giving any information about himself...fishy!!!! Please if I wrong, give me your opinion or help.... PS: last on local news was showing a group of smart Indian young men opening a office of technical support in India to steel American in information by pretending to be true technical support..

I just got the same pop up and same message. I was about to call the number listed when i decided to google it first!

Yes Definitely a scam! Microsofts number is not the number from the pop up.

I just got a pop up on my lap top! Advising me of a potential security risk. I was about to call the number that it directs me to when i decided to google it first. Obviously a scam because here i am. Always research the phone number before calling....
