Left a threatening text. Do not respond.

I received a card in the mail to call this number about medicare. The man who called sounded strange and when I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving him my personal information and that there are many scams out there and I didn't trust anybody, he hung up! I'm thinking this was a scam@!! Can you verify this?  Thanks

A legitimate Medicare employee wouldn't have hung up on you. And I highly doubt Medicare would send a postcard instead of a letter.

How about you go to the CMS website or the SSA website and look up a known, published number and call that for verification?

What is really confusing is why people can't actually think anymore?  This is something really basic that you should have thought of to begin with.
