I had a voice message from this number but it showed up as unknown when it called me. It left this number saying it was from a firm but didn’t state what firm. Says there is an action pending against my father and that he has 24 hrs to respond. The caller stated her name was Susan Lopez.

I received a vm from an UNKNOWN caller, who said her name was Jennifer Clark, and that she was calling in reference to a complaint which has been directed over to her office. If I have any questions or concerns regarding the pending actions being filed against me, I'd need to contact the "Firm" at 888-212-1737 and I'll need to reference my file # XXX-XX and that this is a time sensitive matter and I need to contact them within 24hrs or else they'll move forward without my consent, and please note that this call is being logged as a notification about the complaint and pending action.

Just the fact that the entire message is an overlapping contradiction and extremely vague on who, what, where, when and why? I mean if it was anything important, it'd be very easy to argue that not enough information was given in regards to the subject matter and therefore anyone with common sense would automatically categorize this as a scam or ploy at identity theft. I mean even the health dept gives you more info when you've banged a chick with the clap and they call to give you a heads up. I really do hope one day we'd be able to press a button on your phones keypad to send like a little electric shock every time these ding-bats call. I bet there wouldn't be anymore people from India or the Philippines calling to merely be that beacon of light with a cure-all to our impending doom.

Got the same message as above, that it was a complaint and had been forwarded, and needed to respond within 24 hours. Lady's name this time was "violet". She said it was for my ex husband, who would have no knowledge of my new phone number...

Received the same voicemail from Melissa. Called the number and after they asked me to verify the last 4 of my social, which I didn't and at which point I started asking questions. She said it was some law firm that starts with an "A". Accus....something?  they said I was being sued by chase bank, which I've never done any business with. I laughed and told her nice try.  They would send something in the mail, not have an unknown number call.

I've received the same message as the other complaints filed above from a woman that sounded more like a teenager named Violet. She left a call back number 888.212.1737 to the "firm"

Update: called the number to which was answered by a woman stating the company was Admore something or other. She stated that no outgoing calls were made from that office and she wanted to know who I am. She wanted to what number was called so she could remove it from their list so their individuals wouldn't call any further. Interesting being supposedly trying to prosecute a complaint.

Called, stated they had been trying to serve me papers, tried to get an idea of what my availability is and asked when I could meet so they could serve me. This is a scam of some sort, just ignore them. I had my wife call the 888-212-1737 number back and she was placed on hold in the middle of speaking to the rep, rep was rude and not helpful nor did she provide any information of any value.

Recieved a message that said "Hi this message is intended for XXXXXXX XXXXXX. My name is Jennifer Clark. I'm contacting you today in reference to a complaint that's been directed over to my office. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the pending action being filed against you. You will need to contact the firm directly handling your file at area code 1-888-212-1737 in reference to your file number is XXXXXX dash XX. Please keep in mind that this is a time sensitive matter you will need to contact the firm within 24 hours otherwise still be forced to move forward without your consent. Please be advised that this call is being logged and submitted as proof that XXXXXXX XXXXXX has been notified of the possible pending action being filed against him."
