Called & I answered & hung up immediately. Calls from 888 area code ( toll free ) are scams. Never answer an incoming 888 number. This will just verify they have a live good number. They will scam you & sell your number as well.

i answered, they started yelling at me saying I had to send them money to get me to quit calling or I was going to jail for a warrant??? i did not know you could pay your way out of a warrant! no idea what she was talking about, sounded very uneducated, also, I doubt any REAL company would hire someone who spoke so poorly. She sounded illiterate,I  reported it to the police and they said NEVER answer or talk to these people or give them ANY info, hang up and call the police.

Caller ID showed TOLL FREE CALLER.  Woman said her name was Jada with UPT, left message for Sherry Stagg.  I have been getting robo calls for Sherry Stagg from various phone numbers, including 888-214-3992 and now 888-212-2676.  They won't stop calling.  At this point I may have to disconnect my answering machine in order to stop getting these calls.

I got calls from both of these numbers as well. They leave me a case umber and ask why to call back to settle this matter. I don't answer my cell unless I know the number. Then I google it to see what it tells about the number.

Received a call from this number and was immediately informed that Highland Payday Loans were filling 2 charges against me for unpaid loans!!!!!!! How do I report these people?!?!

Received a call from 888-212-2676 claiming to be JCC a debt collection company working for Kingston Marketing, LLC.  They claimed I owed a defaulted on-line payday loan.  The scary thing is they had the last 4 of my SSN, my old bank account information and an old address.  They wouldn't give me any names except JCC and Kingston Marketing and they wanted me to set up direct debit from my bank to pay off an old on-line payday loan.  When I refused they stated that they would make a note in my account and that I would now have to handle it through court and I would be served a complaint at either my place of employment or my home.  I feel these are scammers.  I reported it to FTC.

I've been getting nearly daily calls from a different number, 866-615-3453, which leaves a message with a recorded voice saying "this message is solely intended for "Zenith Hardy". If you are not Zenith Hardy, please hang up now." if you continue to listen, it gives a claim number. it never says who the caller is. I called them to let them know they had the wrong number, and they said they'd remove me. Of course that never happened, and now I'm getting calls from this number too, with the same recorded message being left. Not sure what kind of scam this is yet but I imagine it has to be one. I am just rejecting the calls automatically but I'm still having to delete messages for "Zenith Hardy" every other day.

Calls and leaves a message then leaves a case number.  They are harassing people and the have number of an ex sister in law.  I don't even have her number!  Tired of it

Just received another Robocall voicemail "solely intended" for someone else. My number is on the Do Not Call Registry.

I just got the same call and they call my mother too

It's a scam I held on to see what she had to say when she did come on the line I asked may I help you. She then wanted to verify who I was told her she had 5 minutes she kept trying to verify I hung up the phone on her. For the record most payday loan companies they just write your debt off and turn it over to debt collection agency.  So let them intimate you.

A woman called several times leaving a message for my husband with a claim number about an unpaid payday loan. I talked to her for quite some time and all I could get out of her was that he had taken out a payday loan in 2010 (which he hadn't) and it was through Capital LLC. She said her company, JCC, was located in Miami but that is all the information she would give me. She threatened to let the payday loan company take me to court several times when I refused to pay the 460 dollars we "owed". She had my husbands address from 7 years ago, both of our phone numbers and the last 4 of his social security number.

These people called me about 3 years ago- they had so much info (and I had taken a pay-day loan out a few years before but it was repaid w/in the allotted time) they said they'd serve me papers at work unless I paid. I ended up paying them 750.00 because I didn't want them coming to my employment.(young and dumb) I never heard from them again..until about 9 months ago same exact stuff. They called my parents and left a message there. I spoke to them one time and then contacted an attorney. They listened to the VM and told me to ignore them. I've also contacted the police about this and there is nothing we can do. In March when they last contacted me they said I had 24 hrs to make the payment before they sent it to court.. well.. here we are 9 months later and they just started to call again.. obviously they didn't send me to court. These are scammers- I was also able to verify with my bank that I never defaulted on that pay-day loan..so I paid them 750.00 for nothing. The attorney also said that any legit collection company would be willing to send you the bill for what you owe so you can see it, they'd leave the reason they are calling ect. SCAMS!

Just got a call from this place.  I informed them that payday loans were made illegal in my state in 2001, so if I DID have an outstanding loan, they have no legal recourse to collect it.  Plus, the statute of limitations for collecting a loan is 3 years, and they told me I took the loan out 5 years ago.  I finally said to the woman "Tell you what.  You give me a physical address to where I can send  a money order, and I'll pay you TODAY, plus any amount of interest you want."  Her response?  "I'm sorry ma'am, we don't give out a physical address because of security reasons."  SCAM.

Same thing as everyone else. Payday loan from 2011 for 350 bucks. My husband has used that before but I don't remember ever doing it. Either way, I have never received a request for payment from them. I told this scammer that and he said why would we have your info if it wasn't true. Then he asked if I knew two members of my family and I remembered when I looked myself up a few years ago on one of those people finder sites when they first started gaining popularity and those two family members come up as possibly related to me. What a coinkidink! He kept saying I don't have time to look you up. Come on. It takes 2 seconds to look someone up and I think that's all he does is!

Payday loan collection for JCC. Never had one but they have personal information.  Told them I was recording the call and they said that was illegal! I told them if they can record mine  I can record theirs, they hung up but they still call everyday.  Said they were in Miami.  Total SCAM

This number called me at work, as well as calling multiple family members, but won't answer when I call back!

I got calls them about an unpaid loan I never got. The only reason I realized they wasnt real because the had my address wrong I never lived where they said I lived and I never got a loan online and my email they said I use was from high school witch I only use to log in to Facebook they are scammers I'm gonna call the police

Been receiving this call as well for my sister about a payday loan she is dis able and do not know what that is and she have no account anywhere, I been telling the phone company about this every day, they are on my blocking list and on the do not call list, But with the phone company I can log on to my account and see that they dial my number like 8 time in a roll of every day to see if they can brick though the call blocking, I told the phone company all of this and you know even bills people do not call you that many time in a roll. they are scam try to tell people that they own something that they do not to try to scam money out of people, they have been reporting and they are been look in to this.
