Called twice, no message left. Phone number comes back as invalid when I used another third party calling site to check it.

just received a called from this number. Caller was a male with an Indian accent who said his name was Jonathan and he was with tech support.  When I asked the name of his company, he said he was with the tech support for all Windows operating system and they had determined my computer was infected with malware.  He asked me to turn on my puter - when I said I wasn't home, he requested a time when he could call back.   He reiterated his name was Jonathan.

I've received calls from this company every 2-3 months for a year now.  They state they are the maintenance support for my computer and that my computer is sending out error messages.  It's always someone with a foreign accent.  They state they support windows.  As soon as I say that I don't trust them they disconnect the call instantly.

Received call today on my mobile phone. This was the second attempt. I did not answer the first call and no message was left. I answered this call. The caller had an Indian accent. He said that he was representing a tech support company for Microsoft. The line was also that my computer was sending error messages saying that I had malware that was corrupting my Windows files. I told him that I needed to have his phone number and name so that I could verify his identity with Microsoft. He said he would text me within five minutes. He was anxious to get off the phone.

This is a very, very old SCAM that has been going on for years.  After you open you computer and give them access, you have lost your identity and it is OVER...Here is a link to one of the many releases from the government about this scam:  You should not GIVE ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION OUT TO THESE SCAMMERS, DO NOT EVEN SHARE YOUR NAME (THEY DON'T KNOW IT):  It is not unusual to get a flood of these calls from dozens of different area codes (we got 24 in a 1 month period while we were out of the country a few months ago):  They try to sell you bogus software, access your computer to get your personal information or all of the above -- they do not have a legitimate business -- this is worse than a DNC marketer as they are criminals (though I have a few telemarketers that have acted criminally, that's a different story):

I received a call from this number. I answered and they told me there was an error message with my Microsoft computer. I don't have one. I could barely understand his accent. Must be a scam.

I just received a call from this phone number today by the same guy with the Indian accent saying the same BS about my windows computer having a problem, etc. They have called me on so may occasions that I can't even count. I have reported the number to the do not call registry complaints and also did this when they called me last week. Last week they called me from 941 555-0182 and then an hour later from 941 555-0182. When he called today I told him that I had reported them and that he was breaking the law by continuing to call me. He kept arguing with me and said that he was not breaking the law and that he was with 'Windows' and needed to check for problems with my computer. I asked if he worked for Microsoft and he said no, they are a 'windows service provider.' It wasn't until I told him that I don't even own a Windows computer that he hung up. Previously, when I would say that they had already called here and to not call again, he would immediately hang up. Now, he seems to want to argue. Regardless this is a complete scam. These people should be ashamed of themselves!

Scammer trying to get into your computer system

Receiving calls from the # 888-212-4615 in the middle of the night, 2:00AM.  This has got to STOP!

Received call at 10:30 pm!!!!!  Had an Indian accent & said his name was Ross!!!!  Said he was from Tech Support.  We told him not to call & it is past the time to call.  Hung up on this scammer!!!!!  What a nuisance!!!!!!  Running a scam!!!!  Has called before several times!!!!  Uses different names.  Has an Indian accent.

I received a call @ 11:00pm from this guy - 888-212-4615. He said he was with windows & I had a problem w/ my Windows computer. I said "Really??" & he "Reallllly!!" very mockingly.  He was very rude & it was obvious it was a scam. He wanted to argue w/ me & I had no idea who this guy was. I could hear lots of background noise, people yelling & talking loud... it almost sounded like a market place or something. I just called the number & the same guy answered. I asked if he was running a scam & he said no & pretended he couldn't understand me. He had an Indian accent. I am @ work & couldn't question him as much as I wanted. Maybe someone else will call & ask him WTH is going on.

I also received many phone calls from these Indians. I went for the okie B.S. & signed up with them! A huge mistake! I am now locked out of my computer. They want  more money now because they said my Microsoft license ran out (there is no such thing). I will report the out come at a later time!
