Very heavy Hispanic accent.  Was asking if our business wanted to sponsor the local high school football team.  Obviously the scammer did some research on the local high school.  Checked with the high school and they did not hire a solicitation company.

Person was very pushy, wanted me to give him info and agree to pay $99 bucks for a “spot” even when I told them I needed a final approval before moving forward he really insisted on getting approval right away. Sure enough looked up the number and has many scam reports.

A lady called asking for $99 to have our business in a Football pister for the local highschool. I received the letter in mail to put my credit card information or check information. I saw it was suspicious when the check had to be sent to La Mesa, CA when I live in Chicago. They are called ALL ABOUT SPORTS. Do not send them money! SCAM!

I am almost afraid to ask what a "pister" is?

They put those in the bottom of the opposing teams Urinals.

Called my job asking for donations to the local high School sports Dept...since I went there I know they only do fundraisers to support the teams-no soliciting calls

Called and answered without checking caller ID which I usually do first. Asked for a owner/manager, tried to pressure to buy "shirts" For local sports team. Once told no(dealt with same people before, they tried lying to me saying I had ordered X amount and needed to pay them for shirts I never ordered or received), they decided to pressure more. They are not a legitimate company and avoid them at all costs due to any contact with them being a waste of time.

got a call from this number trying to get me to advertise with a local high school - Told him we were not interested, said goodbye and hung up. He called back and stated that we were rude and he was going to let everyone know how rude we were... then he wrote a 1 star Google review of my business!   Review is from a Frank Terrones - Guessing that is not the callers real name but that is all I have.

Lady calls asking for a donation to put us in a poster for a local high school. We donate locally not through 3rd parties. I looked up the number just out of curiosity and sure enough its a scam.

do they do anything if you don't send them money?

Lady called local restaurant in Iowa asking for manager or owner. To sponsor the local school for football season. Didn’t want to leave any information when told that it needed to be talked with the owner.

SCAM SCAM SCAM called and said they were calling from a local high school trying to raise money by putting my business on a banner. He was hesitant on leaving his info with me. Spoke with "angel"

Asked for $300 to be put on a banner for local highschool.. told them I would talk with the school principal  about that and they hunged up

Called the Mexican restaurant I work at asking us to sponsor them for $130 and if I paid over the phone it would be $125. Told him we support locally not through 3rd parties. He asked many times why I wasn’t interested. Claimed he was from a high school in Arkansas but couldn’t tell me the superintendent nor the principals name.

No, he or she usually just hangs up after asking a few times “why not?”
