Same thing happened to me. Rebatesoft charged me $7.50 and I know it is a scam. All you get is an answering machine..

Same thing, Charge from Rebatesoft for $7.50 on the 24th. This is the phone number given to me by my CC. Had a another fraudulent charge a week earlier for $11.89 for a Croll Associates. Called the number and was told it was a template for a webpage they sell and was told i would be refunded.

They charged us $7.50 on 12/18. We have no recollection of this purchase, do not recognize the company name. Looks fraudulent. Website has no usable contact information (just a form); domain registration is private (Domains by Proxy). Left a message at the phone number but no one called back.

had a charge from this number on my credit card never even heard of the company or how they even got my card number if anyone has an address for this company please list it

I just caught this on my account. Fortunately it is still pending and the bank said to wait to see if it posts then they will refund the amount or it might just drop off.

We'll see.

i had this happen to me on the 6th of january have you had any luck resolving this? they charged me 7.50 also???

I was hit with $7.50 on 1/9/09 with my Wells Fargo account.  I cancelled my debit card and had the money refunded.  I'm thankful I caught this.

There was $7.50 charge on 12-27 on my Chase account.  Looks like these crooks were counting on small charges at Chistmas time being ignored by Cardholders.  Let's all hope these folks get caught!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got my Capital One statement & found the charge for $7.50 posted 1/4/09. I've called my credit card company and have disputed this charge.  They tell me it will be removed from my account.  Thank goodness I know every charge I put on my credit cards so I caught this right away.

I received my B/A statement & found the $7.50 charge.  I called B/A & they told me to call the vendor???.  I had shredded the B/A credit card to which this charge was posted in August of 2008.  This charge was posted on 1/24/2009!! Too bad!!  I will call B/A again & relay the information I found on these notes.  Thank all of you who complained-I'm with you!!

I was charged $7.50 on my debit account, which caused an overdraft.  I called the credit union to report that this must have been a fraudulent charge and they gave me this phone number.  I called and got an answering machine.

Still circulating apparently, my account was hit two days ago, I recommend cancelling your card as soon as you can.

On 3/2/09 got a charge of $5.60 on my debit card from Rebatesoft, which I have never heard of.  Cancelled card & reported it to my credit union, no refund-below $25.00.  Call the number listed for the charge & only got an answering maching, too afraid to leave a message as then they would have more info on me.

This is fraud and MUST be reported to your card as such.

On 2/27/09 i recieved a $5.60 charge as well.  REBATESOFT 8882184395 MA is how the charge was shown.

I received no phone call but a charge for $5.60 showed up on my credit card pending from RebateSoft.  I made no such charge.  Called the credit card
company and they refunded it and suggested I change the password to my account, which I did.  The same $5.60 charge showed up again today, only this time completed and not just "pending".  I will have to cancel my credit card now and wait 2 weeks to get a new one. Shows up only as RebateSoft with telephone number 888-218-4395.  Answering machine and no one ever answers...they are hackers and thieves.

This company has not called me that I remember.  They charged my banking account a fee of $5.60.  When I call the number and I have several times, I get no answer.  I also left a message, but no one ever calls me back. I called my bank after reading several messages here and found out the charges were made with my debit card number, so we are cancelling the card and getting a new one.
