I recieved a rude anonymous call from this number

who are they..i got one 2 days ago it came up toll free???thanx

I have recieved 2 calls from them as well. This site is all I found about them! What's up with that!?!

I got a call for the 888-218-7148 numbeer

I got a call from 888-218-7148 when I was at work.  There was no message.  I've never seen an 888 # before.  Caller ID says unknown name.  I've gotten more nuisance calls recently, but different numbers.  All the numbers seem to be from Jefferson Capital.  I see from the other notes that this number is too.  Isn't there some way was can get rid of them??

They call my house at least 4 times a day and NEVER leave a message. Isn't this a bit excessive?

Recieved a call from this number... the name of the company is Jefferson Capital Systems, LLC  They are a creditor. They have a program called Emblem Fresh Start Solutions. They offer you a credit card with the balance being that of your debit. Then once you pay off that debit, you have the card and that debit is satisfied. CATCH... the debit they called me about is 17 almost 18 years old... BEWARE......Also, it is ILLEGAL for them to harrass you, inform them of that and inform them to send all future communications through the mail.

Jefferson Capital. They try to collect debt. If you are getting a call, you probably don't legally owe.

Actually in addition to getting several calls i finally got a letter - they are offering an emblem credit card and a partial chargeoff (1/3) of an indebtedness I owe to a subprime card.  However, unlike the above, this account just went into default a couple months ago - so maybe they're not that bad

Jefferson Capital called me 3 weeks ago and said they were attempting to collect a debt for Sprint.  (I never had a Sprint account) I requested they send something in writing so that I may dispute the charge, and I never heard from them again.  I even contacted Sprint to make sure there was nothing that might have been fraudulently opened in my name. They had nothing... Meanwhile, this matter appears on my credit report, courtesy of Jefferson Capital!! They are a scam collection agency!!  Beware.
