    This number calls me and states they are calling on behalf of my local hospital. The story goes that they did an "audit" of the system and I owed two bills, one for $30 and one for $100 from several years ago - that they look like co-pays.  Now I pay my bills so this bothers me.  I asked them to forward detailed bills to me but so far I get a piece of paper with a billing date and an amount. I have no idea - I have medical insurance and have a flex account to pay co-pays with pre-tax dollars. AND... if I owed this money, why am I getting calls now when I received no prior billing?  Also, the woman wouldn't tell me who she was unless I told her who I was - she called me and wouldn't tell me who she was.  Go figure.  I tried calling the business office at my local hospital but they are slow to respond.  I'm just saying... this COULD be a scam. At the very least it's a 3rd party billing company doing a bad job at billing their patients!

    I got one for my mother who died. And the paper looks photocopied. I would call the hospital to and the insurance company. BUT don't send them anything if it's really a bill.

    I'm not THAT dumb
    Of course it's a scam.  They called me and a recording said "All of our operators are assisting other callers.  Please hold for the next available representative."  It's a boiler room and they call dozens of people at the same time, and try to scam the first one to answer.

    I got a bill from them as well, for a surgery I had four years ago. It's a $225 bill, which isn't outrageous but it's enough to make me mad. I paid a surgery copay at the time and my insurance covered the rest, and now they are telling me the hospital didn't bill correctly. They said a new billing company has taken over and after an audit they are sending out all these bills that allegedly should have gone out years ago.

    They called me and were asking for personal information and refused to give me any more details about themselves except that they were "customer service of Roxboro".
