888-231-7782 with no name displayed called my work number. Male voice sounding like computer speak said something about a tax fraud and to call this number back. Call Type should have Scammer as a selection. These types of calls are more dangerous than Prank calls.

Got the same call today.

Robocall from 888-231-7782 with no name. "Tax fraud" and they wanted you to call back. IRS has reported that these scam calls are common, and dangerous if you provide them with any info. Do not call back. Hang up in the middle of their robo message if they keep calling. That usually stops the calls from that particular number.

(888)231-7782 keeps sending me text messages that say, Dear AT&T Customer, Your account has been qualified to get up to 50% discount on your monthly bills. Please call +18882317782 for more information. I never texted or called them back and knew it was some kind of scam.

They want money up front for discount. This is a scam.

I just got that same text message. I am glad I looked it up first. Thought something was a little off when the phone number it was sent from was different from the one it told me to call.

They keep texting saying its frm at&t.  I called at&t and they said its not their promotion

They stated no bill for 4 months if I bought a Best Buy gift card for $560 and my bill would be $139.99.
