    They just called me, a "Alberto Gonzalez from Va Dominion Electric company " insisted we run out to Walgreen & purchase a Green dot money pack card to pay a replacement meter if not a technician will come out to our residence to shut off our power on a Saturday at 6:30pm!
    Oh yeah they only speak Spanish. They are targeting the Spanish speaking community tonight. Please beware!!!!

    The caller ID displayed as " CON ED" and they insisted that they are Con Ed. They say that we have not paid the security deposit for the utility and will disconnect the electricity in an hour.

    They said they were ConEd and were turning off electricity at 4:30 if we don't give them a 1000$ security deposit they supposedly emailed us about September 20th. I was actually already on this page before I called them back but had some fun with it anyway.
    "Michael": Maybe the email got lost.
    Me: I'm the only person who looks at this email address so that wouldn't have happened?
    "": Explaining imaginary security deposit
    Me: Okay so out of all the people who we receive emails from, Con Edison of all companies is the only one we magically lost the email from?
    "": We need to send email to everyone in NYS. Alright but we haven't received security deposit from *restaurant's name*.
    Me: That's because Con Edison doesn't require a security deposit. And I looked up your phone number and there's just comment after comment saying you're a scam asking for $1000.
    "": Why is that maam?
    Me: I don't know why. This is your phone number not mine. -insert snort because I'm hilarious-

    He hung up after that one. Should've had more fun with it before going there.
