I received a text regarding a job opportunity and want me to call the above number. No way

I just got that text as well ... seems odd. I am not calling them. Asked them to email me info

I got the text as well. Just is way too vague and non-specific.

I replied to a craigslist add myself.  They said they were with employer network and didn't have any info about the job i applied for but that it would come in an email tomorrow after I did the application over the phone.  Definitely not going to call back.

I also received that text today. I have been applying to jobs on Craigslist. It seemed very sketchy so I haven't called them back.

I responded to an ad on Craigslist and was subsequently signed up for a number of "back to school" and "job search" spam websites. They sent me a number of text messages as well. I called and informed the woman on the phone I wanted my information removed from their systems... she was extremely hard to deal with. Hopefully they will remove it.

Yup, just got the same damn text message. Why has this company not been removed from Craigslist yet?! Good way of getting your job used agenst you.

I have been applying for jobs via craigslist as well and received a text saying that they had just reviewed my application for a secretarial position and listed that number.  The actual text came from 312.636.4440

I just woke up to the same text message. I am new to the area that I am living in and have been applying for jobs on Careerbuilder.com.

my call came 3/12/11 and the actual number was 5128276224 and said to call 8882400929. i did apply for jobs on careerbuilder yesterday and day before. i deleted it out of my phone.

Just received a text from the same number to call back 888-24-0929 in regard to the jobs I have been applying for couple of days now on craigslist. I am glad I checked the number before giving them a call it does sounds pretty fishy to me why would an interviewer would text thats completely unprofessional and why would they even ask interview question on phone for the first time. And I applied in security field section and I am sure everyone here did apply to a different field, but still getting a text to call the same number.........yea it is just a scam done by some people who have no lives.

Got the same text (3/12/11) for a Carpentry position from 407-803-3587. It said they reviewed my application. I've been responding to Craigslist jobs, but there are no applications involved just resumes being sent.
