I received a call from this number at home and at work stating they were a process server and had a summons for me to appear in court.  They never would tell me who they represent or what "debtor" they were collecting for.  They spoke VERY poor English.  My husband took the phone after several minutes of them harrassing me.  When my husband asked to speak to someone who spoke better English so we could understand what they were saying, he called my husband a "mother-f'er"  Nice professional comment!!  He said they were going to serve me with a summons to my Post Office Box.  Good Luck with that.  They ended up hanging up on my husband as well.

The exact same thing happened to me and my boyfriend today. A black female called who spoke very poor English and claimed that we were being sued for defaulting on a pay day loan as well. After reading this and having the EXACT same scenario happen to me, I am sure that this must be fraud.

I have been getting the same calls.  They even called the HR Manager at my place of employment and left a message detailing the reason behind their call.  I called the number, to request that they not call my place of employment and was repeatedly harrassed by the lady on the other end of the line.  She kept saying, "I'm going to note in your account that you are saying that to take you to court".  I NEVER said those words, and told her that I was recording the convo if she was going to keep putting words in my mouth.  She told me that was illegal, and that she was going to note that in my account and hung up.  After researching, I found that it is NOT illegal in the state of TX! Ha ha! We'll see if I get anymore calls...

Same thing happened to me, but she is also calling my Mother and threating her also. This lady is telling my mom that she can't reveal what company she works for and told my mom that she will file charges on my mother if she doesn't give her my phone number which she already has it because she called and left a voice mail on my phone threating me.

There is no way your mom is at risk for any charges. These [***] are scammers. Buy a whistle or air horn and blow their ears off -- what are they going to do, call the cops? Hahahahahahaha!
