THIS COMPANY IS LYING TO YOU!!! 1) You do not "HAVE TO" consolidate your Federal Student Loans. As a matter of fact, many people SHOULD NOT consolidate their loans--there are great benefits for some loans (like Perkins) that are COMPLETELY LOST as a result of consolidation. 2) They want you to pay them. Federal Consolidation is done through the Dept of Ed--not these people. So ask yourself: Who is paying these people? Answer: YOU DO: They are a DOCUMENT PREPARING company. That means they fill out EASY paperwork for you. Here's an idea: Look for them online. Can't find them?? Hmmm!!! Here's a better idea: Call your loan servicer (even if this company tells you that everyone is "suing your servicer" because that ain't true). Or, call your school and ask your Loan Department what they think. And guess what... those calls are free, and so is all the paperwork. They should be embarrassed for feeding on recent graduates. Shame on them!! SHAME ON THEM!!! AVOID THESE PREDATORS!!
