called cell, left no message

Called cell, no VM left, called number no discription just asks for extension.

She left a message saying her name was Mrs. Patterson and was calling about my vehicle warranty service contract and gave me another number to call 202 602 0223 with my reference number 08812.   Looked up that number and others have reported the same issue with the same reference number.  Scam

Same exact message here. We have the same policy apparently.

Same thing.  Mrs. Patterson-vehicle warranty, call 202 number.  Even the reference number sounds similar.

Wow, same VM, same reference #. I filed a complaint with the FTC and blocked.

Just got the same call with the exact same message and call back number.

Yes, I said butt-dialed.  They called my cell. I didn't answer, but the message went on for 5:20. It was no one in particular, but I could hear the call center crap in the background. Every once in a while you could make out a gentleman with a southern drawl. Can't make out enough to tell anything, but that's a first. Never had a scam call where they neglected to hang up the phone!

Called my cell phone. Same message as others from Ms Patterson wanting me to call 202-602-0223 ref num 08812 for some issue with a vehicle warranty. All this vehicle warranty stuff is a total scam. Stay away!

Called and I actually answered.  Only a recorded voice saying my reference number is this five digit number.  Glad to see what B S this is on this site.  Thanks everyone for reporting.

Also received a call from this same person.  It was exactly as you described!  We have 4 vehicles but she didn't say which car she was referencing.  I am sooo tired of getting calls and mail wanting us to get extended warranty on our cars!!

Unknown caller.... provided a call code, I didn't answer because I was not expecting anyone to call

Just received another call from this number.  I have blocked it now but I'm sure they'll just call from a different one.
