Caller claimed to be a calling on behave of Bell Canada's Marketing Dept. Offering a free cell phone and asking for personal information over the phone like social insurance number, credit card numbers and Driver's Licence number. I called Bell Canada and they said they only have 1-800 # not 1-888 #.

1-888-240-6872, caller claimed to be calling on behalf of  Bell Canada Promotional and Marketting Team.  Offered a free cell phone and plan and asking for personal information over the phone, like date of brith , Social Insurance Number, credit card numbers.  I had a feeling, so I gave all fake info.

A male voice said  he is calling from Bell Canada. I am on the do not call list, so I cut him off.

this people call
said that they are calling from a company i could not remember the name said that they where calling to offer telephone and cable or intenet services through Bell
It happen that i was looking for telephone and cable services they know there stuff since they package was very similar too similar like the one that bell was offering me when i call so i did not think much of it
so i gave to piece of ID as usually company ask you i least i know that bell ask for it since i had speak to them before .... so the day of the services come along and they never show up to the house to hook up the cables they even disconnect the services with cogeco i dont know what this but i call equifax and report it just in case ........
this is so fustrated you can not trust no one anymore!!!
