Newport Equity Solution.  Compare posts for 1-877-6961474.  Charged my elderly mother's cred account $599.  Don't yet know for what; probably a pitch to secure lower cred card rates.  Will try to find out tomorrow (June 3).  (This number is shown on the BA credit statement.  Whether it was actually the number used to call, I don't know.  Location shown is Florida.)

oh my God!...I just got rip off..by this company a few hours ago.....they charged my credit card as soon as I hung the pone up....i called my bank my visa was charged $499...I already owe $2400 ON THIS CREDIT CARD!...I tried to call them...no answer...the employees are so good with playing your emotions...I am trying not to panic but...so many more people are getting ripped off I should have look up the compamy in the better buisness web site...again when it is tooooooo good to be true look out vampires of...I am sorry

Like others, I just found out that my elderly mother was ripped off by this company Newport Equity Solutions from Florida on December 4.  They took advantage of her by convincing her that see needed this loan.  Got her credit card number and a day later it was charged $695.  Price seems to be going up.  Attempted to call the number but all I get is a customer support message that puts you on indefinte hold.  There is website reference that says it under construction.

I just got ripped off on Dec 22nd, the company charged my account $1,500.00 when I called to cancel the phone number 888-240-8030 it was no good. I called the phone number that I took down when they called me and I asked the person the company name in which he told me was Resolution Center (it wasn't I looked up the number on the internet before I called it was EZ Debt Management). I hope they return my money. :-(

I also got ripped off for $990.00 on 9/6/08. I was told by Resolution center I would be credited,but nothing yt, so I kept calling them and  today was told I have to dispute through my credit card company. The processing company they used is not working any longer. Hurry and make your dispute to your CC company before it is too late. This company is criminal.

I work for an organization with a number similar to Newport's toll free number and I've received several calls from elderly people who are quite upset about Newport's business tactics. I found this website via Google because one elderly woman caller cried and begged me to help her find the correct number for Newport Equity. I had no idea Newport Equity was running such a scam. I hope they are being reported to the state Attorney General's office in states where they're operating. This is terrible!

I called the "resolution center" once again requesting the 900 some dollars they had charged my card for their "services". It would seem that their only service is to take your money and run. They do not give you a receipt when your card is charged, so there is no record that they are the scammers that robbed you. I was told that the people who were in charge of the "company" are no longer with them, so they can't give a receipt... let alone a refund. They even had the nerve to ask if I wanted to use any of their other services. hmmmm, how stupid do they thing people are?
DO NOT EVEN THINK OF USING THIS COMPANY, (I use the term loosely), you will lose in the end. They are now going by the name Resolution Center. They are still actively contacting people and taking their money without concern of the damage they do to everyone they do to people's credit.

My Mother's credit card was charged 1200.00 by a company called Newport Equity, the phone number listed was 888-240-8030. I need to know who has gotten this money refunded.  My mother never spoke to these people, that she remembers.  This charge was on 9-15-08. I have been hitting deadends with this for about 6 months, when she finally told me about it.  I am livid -- my Mother is a senior citizen and cannot afford this charge!
