Fraud, travel scam, now they are using other companies logos on the fax.  Been getting their faxes for about 2 years.  If this is illegal why can't they be stopped?

We receive the same corporate travel junk faxes which list this number as the contact number.

This has been happening for four or five years. Activity picks up and slows down intermittently. A very annoying problem.

We have recently received reports from customers of fraudulent faxes claiming to be from Delta Air Lines. These faxes are being spammed to offices and vary in their wording, but may have one or more of the following:

•Contain the Delta logo on the page.
•Purport to be from the HR Department.
•A reference to Airline Travel Program / Land Package.
•Various offers of air, hotel, and meal packages are listed.
These faxes did not come from Delta and the offers are not valid from either Delta Air Lines or our partners. We understand that these faxes are unwelcome, and Delta does not market its services via fax. We are working to identify the parties responsible and stop the faxes from being sent.

I got this fax for the same thing. International-destinations.com. I was the only one at my store and my manager had put out this fax for employees to see. I saw some thing about the first 100 callers get an additional 5 day stay at a hotel in Jamaica. I normally would have just ignored it but I have been working 60 plus hours a week and wasn't in the right state of mind. I initially called just to get more info, but the woman on the phone was very pushy and kept saying that there was only one more spot open for the first 100 callers. It sounded like such a great deal at $179 a person for the hotel 6days and 5 nights. It also said that all your meals and activities were included. I guess I thought that since it said it was from "Human Resources" and my manager put it out for the employees to see, I thought it was legit. And once the woman got me on the phone it sounded like such a good deal, and I really needed a vacation. I also asked a TON of questions cause I was somewhat worried it was a scam. Anyways, after I booked the trip $400 on my cc I called my HR department only to find out that it was a SCAM. They said someone got a hold of their fax machine number. I immediately panicked and called my card company and cancelled my card. I did it just in time cause exactly 1 hour after I cancelled my card they tried to take my money. I was told on the phone that I was gonna get a CONFIRMATION E-MAIL with all of the information about the trip, and even when I was on the phone with the woman she said that she was sending it right then and there (since they said they wouldn't mail anything, it was all done electronically) and later on that day when I went home, I never got an e-mail from them and it's been 2 days. Thank god I cancelled my debit card just in time otherwise I wouldn't lost $400 if not more. PLEASE NEVER FALL FOR THIS LIKE I DID. Just ignore anything that looks to good to be true because IT IS.
