I also received a voice mail from this number that basically was threatening that either me or a attorney return this call and if we didn't I would suffer some consequence.  It was pre recorded so the beginning of the message was missing.  He left his name as officer Craig Stevens.  I have not called it back.

same. just now got that call. pre recorded. ofgicer craig stevens. dont ignore call or else bull sh#%t. i am gonna call them back and rethreaten them gor soliciting phishing scams via private phone libes

so i called back. said they were part of a CRA crime division. he asked how he could help. i said "i dont know. you tell me. you were the one who left a nasty threatening messege". he said sorry wrong number and hung up. i called again. i said he left a lot of ppl nasty messeges and i was reporting him to rcmp. he hung up again. i called once more and and just got recordings. yhis call is okay to ignore. share this number on social media and relevent info so others may not be scammed, especially around christmas. tell your parents and grandparents too.

did you call the RCMP?  I got same call today, [***]. I tried calling back but no answer!

i did. they said they woukd look into it. it worries me cause some elders were recently scammed in the city i live. it made news. i would still report it yourself. the more ppl  report, the more serious rcmp might take it.

I received the same message from Craig Stevens... I called it back and went through the entire directory and could only fine one name, Chris Austin, when I selected him, it went directly to, leave a message.

Same here - guy with an East Indian accent and no phone mannerism whatsoever leaves a nasty voice message with no salutation (clearly indicating he had no idea whom he was calling) threatening I'd face the law if I or my attorney didn't call back and "don't even try to ignore this message". What an idiot!

Same thing, no beginning, said he was Officer Craig Stevens, left a threatening message. "If you or your attorney does not call back, I can only wish you good luck". end of message was cut off as well.

Same here.  I actually laughed out loud.  He does not sound like a Greg Stevens.  He had a far east accent.  First bit of the message was cut off as well.  I did call back and an operator said it was an outgoing telephone line only and not equipped for incoming calls.  That's when I laughed harder and hung the phone up and shook my head in pity for people who do this....What a sad, sad existence, to call people at random and try to fish money. SAD!
